Such a dissAppointment
Great showers, comfy bed, quiet area, minutes from some great pubs and NIA
Bit more light in room
the bed is soft and big enough for me good bathroom and toilet
the room is a little bit small too noisy, i can hear noisy for every night and make me sleepless.
A great bed and good shower. The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly. Easy to get to by train and easy to get into the city centre.
If you want a bed for the night, and not a lounge in your hotel room, this is ideal. Clean, comfortable - everything worked.
As a caffeine junkie, a kettle might be nice? However, excellent coffee available in lobby.
The design was very modern and unique. Shower was amazing. Incredibly clean. Compact and beju. Staff very helpful and you get discount in a nearby ncp. Fab!
The window didn't open so the aircon was left on all night which resulted in a sore throat and no voice on first morning. Kept aircon off on second night to wake in the night to a very hot room. Aircon went back on and lost voice the next morning. Would still go back though
Huge comfy bed Great "waterfall" shower Very clean room HDTV Free WiFi
Can hear every little sound through the thin walls but not a big problem
Shower and toilet in one cubicle - too small and everything got soaked....including the loo roll!
Was really impressed with the bathroom shower was fab
Could of had a bar

good facility, the room is quite small but cordortable. There are some nice restaurants and bars around there.
compact, mimimalist yet cosy
No window! Over slept and was late for my meeting because the room was pitch dark.
I liked everything about the hotel
It's not that I did not like it but the bathroom! if you had a shower then went to get dressed then needed to go back in the bathroom the floor would still be wet.
The quirky retro look
Not enough hangers
Great bed and shower
It would have been nice to have a shelf on the side of the bed next to the wall and a shelf and mirror to put makeup on
Location was close to Venue. Large Bed
Rooms are without a doubt, not sound proof. I felt legally involved in next doors sexual activities and as much as I have to show a degree of admiration for being able to go at it till 5.30am I booked this hotel with the understanding that the rooms were soundproof.
I stay here a lot - it ticks all my boxes, lovely location, clean room, comfortable bed, free wifi. This time I messed up my booking and the staff sorted it for me straight away. They are always helpful and kind.
Layout of room. Price.
Awesome shower, comfortable bed, warm duvet, good pillows, soft towels. Basic, simple and functional. Good price.
Very clean & tidy
Aw the room had no windows it felt claustrophobic , now I know what a battery hen feels like
A lovely comfy room in a good location. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The concept was ok.
The room was too small and cramped. The bathroom was even worse. The towels were dirty and stained and the bedding was not changed it was just simply straightened up.... not value for money at all. I wouldn't go back.
The room was lovely; decorated nicely, clean, bed beautifully made and very comfortable. The bathroom, was tiny but all you need. Receptionist was really helpful, we were there only for the football and so didnt know our way round. She was very patient with the excitable other half and showed us where to go etc. All in all, for the money we paid and the time we were there, the room was almost perfect.
The walls to the rooms are so thin that you could hear next doors mobile phone vibrate. You could hear every word on their tv, and that wasnt because it was unreasonably loud. General conversation could be heard word for word. The other half is a deep sleeper so this didnt bother me, however I was wide awake from about 7am when next doors alarm went off. We were also on the ground floor which I imagine would be louder than the other floors. The bathrooms leave NOTHING to the imagination. So if you have a shy bladder (like me) and are in a fairly new relationship (like me), this might not be the room for you. The positives do outway the negatives though so thank you.
Me and my boyfriend were only staying for two nights, buy oh boy. I didnt want to leave ! The rooms are amazing ! Staff are incredibly friendly and you gets lots of discounts in Birmingham just because your staying ay bloc hotel ! Will definitely come back
