This property was the icing on the cake. The proprietors couldn't do enough for you, nothing was too much trouble. This definitely made our stay in Bath a much more enjoyable one.
Our stay felt very comfortable and personal and we would love to come again in the future.
From the time we arrived to when we left our stay was very enjoyable. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The house was very clean and the decor superb. It was only a 10-15 minute walk to bath. The breakfast was so so tasty, homemade and organic. We would highly recommend staying there and we will definitely be returning.
The hotel was a lovely, period property. The room we had was gorgeous with a large four poster bed and the design was very in keeping with the style of the hotel. The owners were lovely and very informative. Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. Bath itself is gorgeous with plenty of named and independent shops and restaurants. Also plenty to see and do.
The steep hills we had to climb up to get back to the hotel ( a cab or bus is fully recommended).
Beautiful house, friendly, helpful owners, slept like a baby!
Completely appreciated the needs of travellers with a pet. Supplied a good list of dog friendly pubs, suitable walks, even a torch to take the dog into the garden at night! For human guests Bloomfield House is very comfortable, Karen very flexible re meal times etc and cooked a super breakfast. Will definitely visit again!
A very warm welcome Attentive staff A great customised breakfast A welcome room upgrade A stunning comfortable bed Flexible times for check in/out and breakfast
Water pressure not great in our room but a very very minor issue
the bed decor free wine chocolates on my pillow cleanliness friendliness of the owners the breakfasts
The owners were so friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was stress free. Ideal position to explore Bath and the city centre. We will be back.
Nice for a short stay
Big bathroom. Friendly people. pets. Beautiful garden.
the room was comfortable, but could have been arranged a bit differently to take better advantage of the space for a traveller.
Robert and Karen were very helpful when we needed them for advice. Breakfast was great especially Karen's scrambled eggs.
Fine Georgian building, very comfortable and quiet. Made to feel welcome. Full English breakfast cooked to order.
Location was good, owners very nice
No WiFi which I depended on fir my trip. Tiny rooms, too many cats, house smelled. Poor tv reception
Accommodation was lovely with nice appointments. Hosts were great. Good proximity by foot to restaurants and pubs and not far into the heart of the city.
Shower pressure was poor.
Attentive and considerate owner for whom nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was clean and comfortable in a nice peaceful setting
A beautiful house with friendly welcoming hosts.
A minor criticism is the water pressure in the shower.
A very welcoming and friendly B&B. The decoration was charming. The little touches (nice bottles of shower gel/soap etc, tea/coffee/port (!!!), chocolate on my pillow) were really appreciated. Breakfast - delicious and we had great company from fellow guests.
Long walk up the hill as my sister forgot about the short cut (that she was told about by the owners before I arrived!!!!). So in short ... nothing we didn't like.
Comfort ,decor and nice breakfasts. Karen and Robert were excellent hosts.
Long uphill walk from centre of town We ended up getting taxis which cost £5 to 6.
I loved the house very nice and clean. The room was lovely, nice view on the garden. The breakfast was great. If I ever go back I would definitely stay there again. Lovely host. Very useful about directions and things to do around the town.
The wi fi was a bit slow in the room but I guess it s normal cause I was upstairs
Fantastic stay .... Very much enjoyed it and we were made to feel very welcome and at home. A lovely touch was the complimentary decanter of port in our room ! Breakfast was simply delicious with locally cooked produce. Overall our stay was outstanding.
Beautiful surroundings and attentive host who is happy to advise on the best places to eat etc. The room was decorated in a manner befitting the period, giving a comfortable and homely feel, much preferred than the trend for minimalist interiors. All amenities were made available. We did not have breakfast (in the georgous dining room) so cannot comment, however I am sure that this would have been exeptional. We would not hestitate to stay again.
Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Our bed was wonderful!
The shower pressure was lacking a bit but the charm of the older home made up for it.
WHEN OWNERS RUN HOTELS, CAN NOT BE BETTER !
Lovely touch of leaving a complimentary decanter of port in our room. Excellent breakfast. Great friendly and helpful owners.
