Originating from the 1780s, Henrietta House is a Georgian period townhouse in the heart of Bath. It is a 10 minute walk from Bath Spa train station. Free Wi-Fi is available to all guests.
Score from 886 reviews Wonderful
Beautiful surroundings and attentive host who is happy to advise on the best places to eat etc. The room was decorated in a manner befitting the period, giving a comfortable and homely feel, much preferred than the trend for minimalist interiors. All amenities were made available. We did not have breakfast (in the georgous dining room) so cannot comment, however I am sure that this would have been exeptional. We would not hestitate to stay again.
Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Our bed was wonderful!
The shower pressure was lacking a bit but the charm of the older home made up for it.
WHEN OWNERS RUN HOTELS, CAN NOT BE BETTER !
Lovely touch of leaving a complimentary decanter of port in our room. Excellent breakfast. Great friendly and helpful owners.
Upon arrival we received a very friendly welcome, and despite being very early we were still given a key and looked after. The staff were extremely friendly and gave excellent recommendations of local places to go and things to see. Very cosy atmosphere, rooms were nice and quiet, and the bed extemely comfy. Breakfast was included and was lovely - food/cooked breakfast was cooked very well (NO grease!). Overall, very happy with the hotel - would definitely recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, charming place to stay, with lots of character.
Beautifully decorated, stunning view, incredibly friendly staff
Weak WiFi in room - but expected
Warm welcome, lovely breakfast. Advice on what to see and do.
My car broke down 5 mins from hotel and had to be towed back home
Everything! But the most - the owners' cat Mr. Taurnas!! The room was big, bright, clean and very comfortable. Coffee, cookies, kettle and cups were provided. The bathroom was big as well with a nice view of the English countryside. The hotel is just 15 mins walk to the city through a very nice area. The house is 200 years old and you really feel like you are in England the way it's pictured in classic books. Thank you so so much for a wonderful stay! Would recommend this hotel to everyone!
Hosts were excellent very helpful and informative breakfast was very good and all round was a enjoyable stay.
Fantastic stay! Would highly recommend. The room was great, staff lovely and breakfast delicious. Definitely would stay again.
Warm and welcoming hosts. Amenities perfectly suited our needs.
Great period house in a quiet environment. The surroundings were beautiful.
Very friendly welcome...
Very friendly helpful owners /excellent room /very good breakfast /we liked the out of town location in quiet surroundings and the building was full of the georgian charm of Bath /
nothing all excellent !
From the moment we arrived until our departure,we felt totally relaxed- and cared for-at this beautiful house. Very highly recommended.
Karen & Robert were friendly, helpful without being intrusive. I felt we could have asked for anything we needed. Breakfast was perfect as were the facilities. The house was full of character. Our bedroom had a great view of the crescent. It was a quick 15 mins into Bath and was close to Alexander Park which had amazing views of Bath.
Nothing! can't wait to stay again.
Our hosts were friendly and helpful the rooms have both comfort and characterful Karen was extremely kind in arranging a treat for our sister and the breakfast was great couldn't fault our stay
Welcome and friendly approach of owner, great atmosphere and general standard of accommodation.
Friendly and comfortable
Lovely house and rooms. Superb breakfast. Friendly hosts.
Everything people look for in a "Boutique Hotel" but with genuine warmth of a family run concern.
Very nice and welcoming. Four poster bedroom was very nice. Excellent breakfasts and lots of it. Off street parking.
Bath very small. A bit out of centre of Bath. A good fifteen minute walk - steep climb on way back although bus route easy and frequent but expensive.
the owner, the home-like atmosphere, the breakfast, the shower, the bad
bad internet connection
It is a beautiful 13th Century mansion house, situated very close to the central city area. The bed was very comfy and the room was absolutely brilliant. breakfast in the morning was delicious and cooked by a very lovely lady served with silver service worth attitude. Thank you for some beautiful moments we shared! Would definitely recommend this hotel!
