Near the town centre, breakfast served quickly, friendly breakfast staff Room chandelier light fitting far too low. We hit our heads on it many times - why is it so low? |

It was expensive for standard and comfort and accommdation; they cahrge hotel prices but without any of the small luxurious touches e.g. toiletries in the bathroom. while clean and acceptable it is a functional accommodation rather than desirable for a holiday. |

Upon arrival I was shown to my room with little fuss (good thing). The staff were courteous and efficient and I very much liked my four poster bed and the lovely carved mirror. The hotel had real character and easily beats one of these sterile modern buildings in my opinion. Being first down for breakfast I did have to wait quite a while for service. I ended up dropping my teaspoon repeatedly in order to let the staff know that they had customers. They should have been keeping a closer eye on the breakfast room but this is only a minor point and generally they were very polite and efficient. |

Small hotel,no bar, no atmosphere, very quiet, all right as a base to do your thing, breakfast good,rooms clean but no worth the mony got better room for much less at Premier Inn, no snacks or room service etc more like B&B |

Nothing much I thought the Hotel did not match value for money. The bathroom was broken, the sheets were torn, the pictures they showed on the internet were far from what our room actually looked like. I felt completely ripped-off. We payed 77 pounds for a double room without a bathroom!! |

The hotel was very close to the town centre, ideal for the occasional stay. Breakfast was well cooked and delicious. The room was small for a double, the en-suite facilities were too small for a man of my size (6' 2"). |

i was house hunting and needed a room for the night we asked for twin and got a family room 1 double 1 single - "Who had double was an issue Breakfast was 07.30 to 08.30 thought it should have been to 09.30 a break getting down for breakfast by 08.15 is not relaxing with two people to shower before breakfast. Beds uncomfortable lumpy and breakfast timings. |

the quietness of the hotel. couldn't hear noise from outside the room. The hotel was very easy to find. Nice breakfast. recommend it because the staff were so obliging. the stairs to the top rooms. |

It was well placed for the centre of Taunton & the train station (5 mins walk from each). My room was spotlessly clean. Freeview television. Although chain hotels may offer more breakfast items, personally I thought it was fine (cooked breakfast + cereal, tea and toast). If you want a massive amount to choose from at breakfast (like you have in some chain hotels) or newspapers etc you would need to look elsewhere. There is no gym/fitness room, restaurant, no licensed bar - it is essentially a guest house. |

Easy access to local town, relaxing atmosphere. Free view television. No licensed bar, this was essentiality a guest house rather than a hotel as I would understand the description. However, it was a good overnight stay. |

Attentiveness of staff. I asked for a change of room and was accomodated. Free Wifi is a definate bonus and a saving to my business. I would recommend that they change the mattress protectors. These plastic covers are uncomfortable to sleep on. |

Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, sehr nettes Ambiente (Himmelbett, Kamin im Aufenthaltsraum), sehr schönes englisches Frühstück, das individuell zubereitet wird. Gute Lage in der Innenstadt. Zu kurze Frühstückszeiten, die aber in England absolut üblich sind. Gerade das ist einer der Punkte, die ein englisches Hotal ausmachen. |
