Blue Bells Hotel  

The receptionist was very polite and helpful. Price of the room was good considering the location. Hotel positioned in a nice part of London. Room was clean & comfortable enough.

Room was very warm despite the outside ambient temperature being low. The drone of wall fans was very intrusive (next rooms fan was opposite side of the wall and droned on for ages. I also could not turn off the fan in my bathroom and had to wait for it to turn off automatically). Free wireless was so slow, it was unusable. Hotel was unfortunately sited right over the Circle line and the noise of the trains was noticeable - but not too bad.

the desk receptionist staff was very friendly and helpful the bed was very comfortable and large the hotel is very quiet and relaxing it is very well located

the breakfast of very poor quality ; impossible to open curtains so our bedroom was dark (fortunately we were there just for sleeping) ; there was only one bedside light !

Staff helpful and happy to assist close to train and main shopping centres. Good breakfast.

small room need a chair also darker curtains not everyone wants to wake up at 0430 also no breakfast until 0730 so too late fir tours

Location

Superb value for money. The front desk guys were helpful and smiley. The hotel is in a pleasant location, the tube - Notting Hill Gate, is no more tan 5 minutes walk away. My room was clean and the bedding was well laundered and comfortable. An excellent hotel and very competitive prices.

There was nothing I did not like. This is a sound hotel that does not cost the earth.

Good price if you're on a budget. very good size room. Clean and tidy, although a bit tired. Quilt covers, sheets and pillows were clean and bathroom was clean. Easy to get to.

Customer service was poor, dining area was too small with not enough tables: no direction at breakfast. Continental breakfast was cereal, no fruit or pastries and soggy toast. Bed throws were stained, Pillows hard and mattress saggy.

From the moment we arrived, we felt really welcome. Nothing was a problem. My son was ill during the stay & the staff were brilliant. The hotel was spotless. We stayed for one night & can't wait to go back. Loved it!

It was clean enough as three stars, the breakfast was also good enough without a specific or a limiting of your eating.

The staff was non-honest as a result of that the gave me the worst room which is located in the basement. They Know I have a child but the did not care. While two days my wife and I could not sleep well. When I just arrived they direct recommended this room and the problem was there was empty rooms in the hotel, but I do not know why they have done that with me. I will never take this hotel and I will never recommend it to anyone else.

Room on the fourth floor was small with a tiny washroom. No hot water in the morning.

very noisy group above us. at 2.15 am had to get up and go to reception they did go up to them and sort them out but they didnt calm dont until after 3am

Lovely quıet area handy for buses and tubes. 2 mınutes walk to portabella road market and 5 mınutes to kensıngton gardens/hyde park. Our room was on the top floor whıch was very spacıous wıth a large bathroom. ıT dıdnt bother us but there was no lıft so people wıth mobılıty problems would be better wıth a room on the lower floors. Adequate but basıc breakfast. Staff very frıendly and helpful. Good value for money

Staff were very helpfull. Rooms were spacious and clean and the location was superb.

We had a ground floor room next to Reception and the dining room and the tube line ran under the hotel so had some noise but absolutely fine and the location made up for any inconvenience.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. I read a lot of reviews before I went and was a little worried to what i'd find as i'd already booked it but was pleasantly surprised. It was clean and comfortable and the shower was lovely and powerful. For the price it was better than I expected

The hotel has no lift or bell boy so it was a hassle with our luggage. Our room was at basement below the main hallway hence very noisy at night. Housekeeping is bad as our room was not cleaned except for changing of towel and beds were not made-up properly. Coffee & tea not replenished and insufficient for family of 5 adults.
