Very slow Wifi connection. Very small appartments with bedroom windows facing internal building walkway.

Very handy for bars and restaurants

The issue of having to have the same booking card. Mine had been changed in the interim and there should be absolutely no problem.

Manageress was not very helpful when we couldn't remember pin number of card we booked on. Basically said we would loose money on both apartments and we would not be able to stay unless we could provide another credit card. Both our apartments had been paid in advance so this was only for a holding fee which we were willing to pay cash or by another card, this was apparently against company rules. She was very unhelpful so luckily a friend had another card so had too do a refund on one card and charge whole amount to another.

messy reception - IT problems, Corporate VISA card refused (had to use my personnal VISA), which I was able to use for paying my dinner bill 1 hour later. Very uncomfortable!

The hotel is in a great position, just in the centre of Manchester, near the Deansgate Metrolink station. The staff is helpful and very professional. The rooms are very clean and spacious.

The apartment was clean and well decorated. Also near train station and metro links. The receptionist Emma was very nice and helpful.

The man who we first dealt with at the reception was rude and had an attitude. We felt unwelcome and because of him i will never stay at this hotel again. He was tall slim, had fair hair and wore glasses. He did not greet us and ruined out experience.

The apartments were spacious and modern. They were comfortable and had everything you needed.

liked the fact that it was very spacious, ultra modern and very comfortable.This was our first time in an apartment and thought we would try it for a change, we loved it and would stay at the Blue Rainbow again.

The view from our window was not so good overlooked a run down car park although it was nice to have a balcony.

Loved every thing about the hotel! Will be visiting this hotel again without a doubt.

It didnt happen to us but I over heard some people talking about the deposit u have to give wen u arrive. I think this needs to highlighted on booking.com as it is very easy to miss.

Everything we needed for our short break away. But enough privacy for 2 couples. Wide corridors for a wheel chair

slow lift- especially with a wheelchair- had to wait for lots of other people to use it first and seemed to be waiting for ages

The room was really big and spacious as well as modern and also within waking distance from the city centre which is great especially when u have young kids. I would definitily come back!

There is no cleaning service so if u stay for 10 days the apartment gets a bit dirty and there isn't anything in the flat to use to clean it! Also if u want a new pair of sheets they want 15 pounds to wash them ! You can't possibly wash the sheets urself and dry and use them the next day so I found that a bit uncomfortable especially when my little one vomited on the sheets! Other than this the place is really nice and definitely recommend it!

Having to put a £100 deposit on the card it was booked on was ridiculous. Staff would not let my client pay the deposit on her own card. I had to come in and do it so she was sitting waiting for nearly an hour. The staff said if I had not been able to come they would not have let her in the room and even joked people had been sent back to the country they'd come from. It was only a small inconvenience for us but could be a major problem for some. It would have been extremely embarrassing had I not been able to come.

Omg where do I start. It was dirty paintwork dirty snd had been tiuched up with the wrong colour. Curtains hanging off the rails that were ripped and dirty fithy windows inside and out. Dangerous electrics spotlights in bathrooms hanging out abd light switches with no covers which had bare eletrics showing. Dirty carpets in both bedrooms and afithy rug in the lounge. No hot water when I complained I was told once the maintenance man had been we would have to wait 40 minutes for it to heat up. They had to ring the manager as there was not one on site (how odd) I would have thought that was there responsibity!!! I had the call put through to me and I explained as it was one of the ladies birthdays which was the point of the trip, we had reservations made a month in advance and we did not have time to wait she said there was nothing she could do and offered to send up a bottle of wine to drink whilst we waited, clearly she could not grasp what I was ssying obviosusly not management material!! I declined the offer and we missed our reservation as the maintenance man did not finish until 8pm!! The manager was rude and extremely unhelpful and the staff are incompetant with not a clue about customer service . They even tried to charge me for the call they put through to me from the manager regarding my complaint!!! I woul strongly advise anyone not to stay there and to please read the reviews off people who have had terrible experiences and take note I would hate anyone to suffer what we did it was the worst experience ever. I am a present speaking to trading standards as there website advertises a complete lie about the apartments and I have photos to prove it.

The layout of the apartment was excellent and very comfortable. The bedroom had a lovely large bed and power shower. Very large fridge/freezer.

No frying pan to cook breakfast, however a good selection of other pans.

The space and freedom. Friendly staff.

Loads/ the female member of staff we had was ok the male member of staff was the biggest joke ive ever come a cross here the story I booked this room as it was 44% cheaper which was on a friday in manchester while 1direction was on thought it was cheap now I no why it was my daughters birthday present my wife was taking here got to the apartments which was a pain to find by the way went round in circles for 15 mins give up and asked some one in the end even though I have the latest sat nav my wife went in as I didnt see any parking she came back out and said it was 15 pounds extra to park their lets crack on was not to botherd a bout that though it may bother some understandably it was 630 my daughter was going to get to concert at 730pm so we had good time got out the car walk to lift from car park give up waiting walked up few flights of stairs with luggage in end got to check in give my name in he said the room was fully paid for have you got the card you booked it with I have two bank cards took the other one by mistake told him I picked my other one up and didnt have the pin for this one was waiting for a new one to be sent out he said I carnt let you stay then I was shocked I said I have all ready paid for my room so what was the proplem any way he said we need to take another 100pounds deposit out out so I said when I booked it on a link up site to theirs it I paid for 1 night the said thanks for making your booking and that was that it said nothing like beware you need the card you booked it with and 100pounds deposit he kept sayin its in the terms and conditions he said it not on site you booked it though but its in ours terms and conditions again I wasnt botherd I said surely we can get round this I only have 1 hour to get my daughter to the concert it a birth day present so I said if the deposit is the isue I will pay you double cash 200 pounds deposit and you can keep my other bank card as I wanted an end to this as time was getting on I was so...

Loved the facilities, loved the fact we were literally self sufficient and staying in our own accommodation...felt like staying in our own luxury flat.the shower was amazing too
