They do not provide cleaning tools and they do not clean the apartment during your staying. So, bring your stuff with you :)

The location of the hotel in the city centre No hot water, there was little hot water, only enough for one person per room to take a bath. And there was a long wait of over an hour for the water to be reheated for a shower or bath.

Reception staff very helpful, was able to check in early as reception found us a vacant room. Quite with lovely modern rooms. The only thing I would say is they the hotel its self is very poorly sign posted, we drove past it twice. I feel this is something that needs to be improved upon, but everything else about the hotel was good.

The freebies - cereals, carton of juice, cookies and bottle of milk. Location. 1. Over reminding the customer if anything gets broken inside the unit, it will be charge to the customer. I was ask to read the terms and conditions at the front desk before getting the room key. The a nice brochure was handed to me to gether with the key. Only to find out most of the pages contains a list of all the important items in the room and corresponding cost chargeable to the customer if in case something happens. I have stayed in more luxurious hotel and apartel but did not encounter this kind of detailed reminders. 2.Not considering customer' situation. When I arrived I was told that the hotel is upgrading me from one bedroom executive unit to two bedroom. I told the hotel that I am travelling alone and the upgade has no bearing at all besides I am just staying for the night. (Arrived at 10pm and left at 7am the following day). Would appreciate a free wifi access instead. 3. Since it is a 5 star aptment-hotel, I was expecting a nice lobby - reception desk. I got surprised when the cab driver dropped me at the very back of the building and front door area is not well lighted. Not much sign/message to customer on how to get in when the glass door is locked. 4. Dining chairs. Very flimsy.

They are nice rooms, very modern and trendy, its situated in a good place, and is a very good price! There was no hairdryer in the room, which is something that would be appropriate for girls staying here, also the heating took a while to heat up the rooms and there was no heater in the lounger/kitchen. The shower head would not stay up right very well, so I had trouble with that.

To pay the same rate as at say, a Hilton guestroom, you get two bedrooms and a living/dining area. The hotel is in an ideal location both to get the train to and from the apartment but also to wander into the city centre. Excellent.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Blue Rainbow and would recommend to others without any reservations. My stay was comfortable but there were some areas which need attention, I.E. one of the heaters in the room was not working, so made it a bit uncomfortable as we had to keep the doors open to let the heat in from the hall way. The point is there is only one lift between 9 floors which I understand they can't do much to now, but if they can make sure that if kids are in the hotel they make sure they don't play with the doors as waiting for a lift when you want use the wash room is not very good. LOL!!!

Excellent apartment and better value than hotel room. Very comfortable for single or couple. Orange juice and milk for cornflakes or muesli in fridge is a nice touch. 5 min walk from Deansgate station or Metro. Gr8 pub a short walk away too. Window wouldn't close when there was a storm outside but maintenance man was there in 5 mins - he was a United fan but despite that top geezer! Easy internet. Will stay again. Water boiler is annoying when u want to get to sleep.

I found the apartment clean, spacious and perfect for unwinding after shopping with my daughter. She is at university and it was great for catching up in a relaxing surrounding rather than a cramped hotel room. We cooked but would have liked to be able to clear up better but no tea towels were available. Lovely welcome pack. This is not a complaint but it was difficult to find for the first time, even the taxi driver failed to know the road and the name on the front of the building could have been more prominent.

Nice touch with welcome pack but there are better value self contained apartments in central Manchester. At just under £210 including one nights parking was not value for money in my opinion. Kitchen has all mod cons but missing essentials for cooking like baking tray / grill. Each room has its own boiler and cannot be controlled so the while apartment was red hot and stuffy.

The apartments are in the perfect location for a day/night out in Manchester - on the doorstep to Deansgate Locks. They are modern, clean and comfortable. I especially liked the bathrooms. Reasonably priced and provided with everything you need for a short stay. The only suggestion i could give would be to install another lift (we had to wait for ages struggling to hold all our belongings to vacate) as the one provided was constantly full of cleaning staff with their trolleys. We ended up using the stairs which was so dangerous lugging all our cases/bags.
