The location, the room itself, staff were friendly
We reported that the lock to our balcony door which adjoined the next apartment was broke so door couldn't lock. Thought that a maintenance man or somebody would fix it as we were booked in for three days but was told that it wouldn't be fixed. We were offered another room but could only have a smaller one. Wasn't going to accept that so spent three days with the balcony door unsecured. Ok only next door had access but still.
State of repair - heater in main room didn't work, shower poor. Check in staff abrupt and not very helpfull
Years ago these would have been great apartments but not maintained at all.
We had numberous problems. Doors not shutting to bedroom, shower buttons missing, towel rail not working, freezer totally frozen up, wobbly tiles in en-suite, unsafe plugs, door locks on balcony sharp an not safe, lock on bathroom door not working, fire extinguisher was empty and out of date! On complaining to staff they said no management work over the weekends. Very poor customer relations. Would not recommend anyone to spend all that money on a unserviceable apartment.
Booked one apartment with two bedrooms was given two seperate apartments the whole idea was that we all stayed together was then told we could only check in between 3 and 5 ....
Terrible internet range. Lack of good ventilation. Heating not working in the lounge. Window between bedroom and corridor with broken blinds.
The rooms are spacious and impressive
We didn't bring the credit card that was used as part of the original booking. It took us over an hour in reception making arrangements for alternative payment. I'd offered to provide various alternative credit cards and this wasn't acceptable.
Location, Facilites within appartment, On site parking. Tea/coffee facilites.
Windows throughout appartment and balcony was dirty. Slow check in/out due to only 1 staff member. Lounge area could of had a further couch as 4 people could not fit on the one provided. No full length mirror in bedrooms and lacks plug sockets throughout.
Over all the appartment was ok , think they just need a bit of love and attention.
Didn't like the fact that our on sweet bathroom light was not working ,after asking twice if it could be fixed. And the kitchen tap was leaking water over the work top and it went under the microwave.
The location is brilliant for a night out in Deansgate as it is a short walking distance even in heels, we did get a taxi to The Restaurant Bar and Grill which only cost £5 as we didn't no where it was. The apartment itself was clean and well equipped, the beds were very comfortable with fresh bedding. It was big enough for what we needed but wouldn't say the apartment can cater for a party of 4 as suggested as there isn't enough seating.
We asked for an executive apartment as we were told this was the highest standard when we called the apartments prior to booking, but when we arrived we were a little disappointed with this "executive" apartment, so we rang down to the reception to find out that the apartment is actually advertised wrong on the website, the apartment shown is a premier apartment which is better than an executive apartment. Also in the en-suit, the toilet wouldn't flush, the tap on the sink was faulty and there isn't a handle on the shower door to get out, luckily there was somebody to help open the door from the outside. Throughout the apartment all the doors kept slamming shut this wouldn't be very good if there were kids in the apartment, we had to prop open the doors. There was a confusion with the late checkout, we arrived under the influence that we were checking out at 3, but when we asked the staff said they never do a three o'clock checkout so we agreed for a 2 o'clock check out, at half 11 the next day we received a phone call that woke us up stating that we needed to check out then, obviously we where not ready to check out as we were not expecting to check out for a little while longer, so we ended up checking out at 1.
Everything is so good!
Cold shower 2 days in a row despite requesting it was fixed. Spoilt my whole experience
Location - close to the Manchester Central; Facilities - all you would need for a short break; Toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, etc) and tea and coffee provided; Quiet for a city location
Only one key per apartment, so independent socialising had to be managed carefully; Decor and fixtures were tired and showed signs of heavy wear, in some cases, poorly maintained (sink tap was reported loose twice before getting fixed, spotlight hanging loose in shower).
Expensive parking compared with local options Hard to find
Plenty of space. Good quality decor & furnishing. Good kitchenette facilities (and sufficient supplies). Attractive atrium setting. Rooms felt secure. Convenience for Manchester City Centre.
Wood floors and aggressive door-closure mechanism meant using a door resulted in an echoey bang.
- Location, great walking distance to city centre. - Good living space
- apartment looked dated and had a lot of damage - cost. We paid £200 for a 1 night stay. Didn't feel it was value for money.
The girl on reception was very pleasant and helpful the guy on night duty was also very helpful both made our stay very easy and enjoyable.
The 3 o'clock check in time.
The size of the apartment
Pulled the curtain back to the balcony and the whole rail fell down. Spot light in the bath room overheated and exploded spraying glass everywhere. (Basically some shoddy workmanship!)
Spacious, modern, we had shower caps, lovely choice of different teas etc. little extras that were thoughtful
Bit of a walk into town center but directly opposite deansgate locks so depends what ur after. Far too hot and couldn't find the thermostat.
The living area was very nice
We came to Manchester to hear concerts in the Bridgewater Hall. The bed however provided its own symphonies because it creaked and groaned if you moved so much as your big toe. An uncomfortable mattress gave me back ache. My husband is tall, the bed short with a board at the end, a divan bed would have allowed more flexibility, his feet could have stuck out from the end.
Every room in the apartment had plenty of space and was excellent for people to relax in.
I have stayed here before and never had any problems, this time we could get any hot water to come the the bath or the showers. After about 2 hours of being there the water did get hot.
Location, spacious rooms
internet slow, no A/C in the room, one staff didnt speak english well
Staff is smiling and helpful
Needs a lot of maintainence. Very very poor wi fi signal. All kitchen facilities were not functioning properly. I stayed twice in an executive 2 bedroom apartment, there were a lot of differences between the 2 apartments regarding the size, facilities, ventilation, etc... Last visit was a hell
Location and size of the apartment. Also the receptionist was excellent.
Position, light, 2 bathrooms, space
It had a strange smell.. like a dirty cloth had been used to clean it. It needed some maintenance.. light bulb not working in one bathroom, towel rail not working in one bathroom, no fans in bathrooms working, no light over cooker hob, no wooden spoons, no frying pan
Location, spacious, good view from the top floor,
one of the staff couldnt speak english properly.
