Value for money

A lot of walking to and from the Tube station.

Staff were friendly. Rooms were clean and reasonably furnished. Pleasant location with good transport links.

External appearance i.e. above a Chinese restaurant

Tidy room and reasonably comfy bed.

The room was small, the curtains didn't fit properly and the bathroom became rather too wet after showering (because it sprayed below the high-hanging shower curtain).

The room was very nice, comfortable and clean

There is no night porter

The window does not close well, the voices of cars on the street annoying, cold air leaking out of the window.It was a cold night so I could not sleep.I Would not recommend to stay here

Location is Good.

Services is not that good, reason was the staffs have little knowledge on the Customer Service attitude, The 3rd night was terrible, no HOT water supply when I returned my outing in the night, been called to the staffs 4-5 times on the phone for SOS, they keep replying 10-15 mins hot water will be right... till we waited 12 mid-night, NO HOT water still,l we have no choice use Cold Water to bath... BTW< the breakfast too simple, chinese restaurant was closed since 6 months back...., please update in the profile.... too bad we need to call TAKE-OUT delivery almost every night... Overall is Avg....

The room was very clean and warm.It is also close to the bus and underground station in less than 10minutes,and there is a Morrisson opened late which is handy Very quiet area

Its location to where I needed to be, reasonable cancellation charge timescale, parking was not an issue as I travelled by train, reasonably quiet at night

it was clean well run and it is easy to get into london

The hotel was in a reasonable location for access to my work location and was in Acton town itself. This was a good location to the local restaurants and bars and shops

Based on my stay I could not complain to be honest.

It was clean and the staff very helpful.

The Breakfast was poor, because there was no cooked Breakfast. checking out time was to early, if you were out the night before like I was, 10am

The shower is terrible - poor water pressure so can't maintain temperature. And the quality of the breakfast has deteriorated of late - now very little choice and what is available is of poor quality. On this occassion I was give a room that had previously been used for smokers (before the ban?) and the curtains and soft furnishings stank of stale smoke.

I had a lovely stay with Blue Star Hotel, Room was great value for money, comfortable, & bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was lovely & staff were friendly. Couldnt fault the hotel & will stay again when i visit. Elaine.

Could be hair dryer in the bedroom, when travelling & luggage is limited. There is hair dryer at reception do..!

The beds were very very uncomfortable. The bedsprings were sticking out of the mattresses and hurting our backs. The mattresses should have been trashed months ago. The reception people were constantly lying saying that they would change the mattresses. They never did! The tv did not work at all!. They tried but could not fix it during the four days of our stay there. We wanted to move to another hotel but they charged my credit card in advance and I did not have an extra budget for that.. I don't know yet if booking.com will refund my money. The room was never cleaned!. The trashes from the previous guests were there!! The bedsheets, etc were never changed. The whole stay was a nightmare!!

We liked location as we lived in Acton for eleven years.

We were not happy about the room size. [208] It would be ok for one person staying a night or two but not a couple staying a full week. The tv wasn't working. The light in bathroom wasn't working. We had to ask for towels every day. Sheets were not changed for five days and only then caused we requested them. Breakfast was poor, It might be a good idea to have tables set in the morning to show guests that they were staying in a hotel and not a hostel. We travel six months a year and stay in hotels all the time and sorry to tell you this was the worse. We did know it was basic as we stayed before but unfortunately it has gone down hill. We are now enjoying Jury's hotel in Galway Ireland then off to Turkey and Lanzarote for four months. We are return guests to each hotel. We will be in London in mid February but can't say we will be staying with you. Sorry.

Cheaper than other London hotels, room was quite big and clean

WiFi wasn't working, the staff isn't exactly very professional or well trained

i found the hotel very freindly and a ideal location off the motorway
