Good location for Ascot Racecourse.
Very comfortable and clean room. Barbara very friendly and accomodating
Poor tv reception
The fact that I knew we were going to arrive after the last check-in time did not become an issue as the owner was more than helpful to accomodate our needs. We also enjoyed a lovely meal in the pub/restaurant next door which wasn't cheap but well worth it.
Not a lot !!!
No directions to find house No visible signs of owners Steps down to garden room would be a problem for less sure footed people (especially if it was wet!) Breakfast consisted of two Tupperware containers of bread (Does not constitute a continental breakfast in my book!) Only 3 tea bags of Earl Grey, second cup of tea out of the question. Bathroom very poor lighting, like shaving in the dark! Dangerous slippery bathmat, could be a nasty accident if not careful All in all, not a pleasant stay
Spotless comfortable rooms, beautifully laid out with everything you could want. The continental breakfast was very convenient, and our autistic grandson referred to it as "home" which about sums it up.
Great location near Ascot race track Lovely garden room Very nice breakfast provided
everything about the place. have stayed in many places around windsor and this will take some beating; the owners are in the background and let you get on with your break. gave us a voucher for two glasses of wine in the duke ,nice touch.
nothing,could not fault it.
Although my wife and myself only stayed for the one night. We would definitely stay again for longer. The owners are very nice people and helpful. The surrounding area lovely to walk around.
Spacious room Excellent breakfast
Clean and comfortable, bathroom was excellent. Room was serviced daily to a good standard.
Basic continental breakfast. No way of knowing if cheese was vegetarian so couldn't eat any. Orange juice would be nicer than apple juice.
The place was quiet and was indeed a gardensuite, we were happy overall, however my husband slipped twicw in the bath, once with the bathmate andthe 2nd time without. On looking at the gash in his arm he appears to have required a stitch or two, care is needed if your aged
The quality of the accommodation, and the freedom to come and go/leave car, room was set out with table and chairs so you could bring take-aways in
I would have liked better directions as my satnav packed up, Location is best to say just off the A332 behind the Loch Fynne restaurant. Liked to know if buses pass forgot to ask and used taxi
Went to Ascot for the races. V convenient for this. Lovely rural location
Stayed in ground floor room. Quite noisy from people above
The room was well set up and prepared for a completely self-catering stop. This was ideal due to our late arrival/early departure. A tastefully decorated and furnished room with good facilities. The excellent Lock Fyne Restaurant only a short walk away was ideal!
Location from Windsor Castle and Legoland
Comfy bed, everything we needed and very peaceful. We were very tired when we arrived and much later than planned due to a nightmare journey. Complimentary breakfast was put in our room which we thought was a very nice touch and made for an easier morning. Very clean and roomy. Easy check in and check out.
The fact it was so cold. We didn't find the fan heater until we were making breakfast in the morning. We were so cold we slept with socks on, something I never do!!
Great value. Clean and comfortable. Extra bed was ideal for our toddler. Breakfast
You may need to use your smart phone and the latitude and longitude as it's on a remote road
The setting was very nice, the room was airy and nicely decorated. The DIY breakfast was a little strange but there was plenty to eat.
The bathroom floor grouting needs cleaning, I tried a small patch and it would not take much effort to make it look really good. The toilet seat was not the correct one for the toilet. It was a totally different shape and did not fit properly.
Comfortable beds and lovely large room overlooking garden. Didn't meet the hosts but good access arrangements so fine by us.
One room was large with lovely view of garden - very impressive.
One room was stuck at the back and very stuffy as there was only a door and no window - didn't want to sleep with door open all night! Breakfast was provided in the room it was plentiful, but cheap (Happy Shopper products at 'special buy' prices). Just seemed to lack quality really. Also rooms needed a good deep clean - the spiders and their webs had taken over the bathrooms and corners of the rooms!
Great room, comfortable and spacious. Each room has an outside door so there was no need to disturb the hosts. Parking on site. Modern with a small fridge and continental breakfast for extra 5 pounds. Table in room and breakfast was considerable.
The size of the rooms, really comfortable and had everything we needed. The fridge was great, and there was the continental breakfast all set up in the room for the following morning with everything needed in the fridge. My husband and sons nipped to the Loch Fyne Restaurant/pub approx 50yds away, which was very convenient. We all had a great nights sleep. Barbara the owner text me with info, but sadly never got to meet her. Would highly recommend Bluebell House if wanting to visit the Windsor/Ascot area.
Trying to find it in the dark, wasn't so easy, almost drove past it. Could do with a larger sign on the road. Having to leave the next morning :-(
large room, good view over garden, continental breakfast, close to pub meals, wifi, friendly owner
House was under renovation so actuality did not resemble photo on web. Half rental was taken as deposit months before. Owner had forgotten this. Car parking a bit tight.
general location tis great - can almost walk to Windsor Park; short drive to Windsor town centre. Peaceful location Pleasant garden setting Restaurant almost next door (Loch Fyne)
Cooked breakfast might have been preferable to continental; bit more thought needed on the continental Didn't see staff or owners when stayed for 2 nights (although no real need)
