Nice big clean rooms, friendy staff, great location for Star City which was what we wanted (but no where near anything else) breakfast needs improving the hot breakfast was just 4 items scrambled egg, beans, bacon and some little round potato things,no meats for continental, just toast and cereal.

Shower was brilliant and hotel room very big compared to expectations, only a short journey into the city for shopping. Free parking was a bonus for a city. 10 minutes after settling into the room, someone else walked in, they were guests behind us waiting to check in as we were being checked in. The hotel obviously gave the same room number to them, this is a major security issue. I myself am a Hotel Manager and for this to happen was apalling, good job we were in the room at the time and that we were not out with high value items left in the room. Receptionist did not look at us once on Check-in, maybe I am biased because I am a Hotel manager myself, but did expect some courtesy to be shown by the team members.

The room was amazing, great choice for breakfast, one of the best we 've had in a hotel. Staff very helpful. I booked for 1 night and have been charged for 4 nights.... Problem with booking.co or the hotel i don't know, but the hotel staff was very helpful and polite and refund the difference.

The hotel is not far from the motorway and the town. Ample of parking. Rest nothing close to what you expect from Hilton. The rooms were ok. They didn't have much options on the breakfast menu. Overall the hotel doesn't justify the Hilton tag. If you spend the same amount on a 3star hotel u get much better value for your money.

Nice clean hotel, good value for money The assistant manager lied to us over something he really didn't have a clue about,if your going to tell people about licensing laws don't make them up off top of your head when speaking to a Licensee please. The breakfast plates are ridiculously small more like a saucer, and the hotels in the middle of nowhere unless your staying at Star City

Very clean, easy parking, with very powerful Wi-fi Staff are not trained to deal with the breakfast rush, resulted in guests clearing tables themselves to eat on.

Myself and my partner had travelled up to watch the villa game vs wolves, we decided to make a weekend of it so stayed thursday through to Sunday. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and we did not want for anything, there was no noise from adjoining rooms an the room was very clean, tidy and spacious. The hotel itself is situated right next to a leisure park with several restaurants and activities if required. It was a short cab ride/drive into the middle of the city centre, and was a 20 minute walk from Villa Park, all in all a brilliant hotel for our weekend. Breakfast disappointing- so not up to Hilton's standard I am used to, staff should undertake some customer service training-no greetings when came down for breakfast not a single smile to guests, slow service at breakfast looking almost angry and embarrassed? to be there, wearing dirty uniforms! The Receptionist did not asked how was my stay during the check out. Where are your Brand Standards implemented? I couldn't see any, sorry...

The hotel was nice enough! And very worth the money! Our 1st rooms heating panel didn't work so the room was cold but when reported to reception we were moved to another room instantly with no questions asked! Would stay again!! Not all rooms have a bath.

Stay at Hampton was nice and comfortable, staff and service was good. Room was in excellent condition, I loved the little seat/bench in the shower it was very relaxing. One thing I wasn't happy with was the room heating, I did try switching the heating up but it wasn't working or maybe it was broken. Had to sleep in the cold. Room was good size and well appointed. Nice bathroom. Pet stayed free. It's a nice budget-style hotel a couple of miles from anywhere (our taxi on New Years eve was £ 10.00 each way into the centre - might be cheaper another time ?) I'd read reviews and didn't expect much for breakfast and it was as bad as expected. Nothing wrong with the range or ingredients but it wasn't very hot and the bread was shockingly stale (and I'm not too fussy). I'd stay again but for a one night place to crash and an alternative to a motorway lodge - not as a treat

The room is big and comfort. I was disappointed when I found out that there was no swimming pool as I believed when I booked. It was my mistake. I was also disappointed with the quality of breakfast. Lack of choices. All the bananas were black.

The reception staff were particularly friendly and welcoming, and were very helpful The location is suitable if you need a base on the outside of the city for a one off event, otherwise on any other trip I would not advise this location
