I Liked the fact that I was allowed to bring my pet dog and the Staff made us feel very welcome and were very helpful. Absolutely nothing. |

The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful The fact that there was no food after breakfast until lunch was annoying as we were hungry after our journey and all that was on offer was crisps. Even a sandwich vending machine would have been welcome. |

the staff were friendly, the breakfast was good. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, the only bad points were the location which was not suitable unless you had a car and the TV was not tuned in. |

Rooms were good and clean as was the facilities in the room. Breakfast was poor and replenishment of the food very slow.tables were not cleaned and crockery was in short supply. They did not have sufficent staff on duty to cope with the meal. |

Room, bed, shower and heating were just right. The breakfast was average although a little slow as there was a coach party there. Efficient lift. It was very quiet. The car park was good. The breakfast ran out of almost everything - cups, glasses, tables, sausages, bacon and we had to wait while it was replenished and it ran out again immediately. We nver did get any bacon. The TV did not have BBC1 or Channel 5 and the reception chap just shrugged his shoulders and said it was probably like that in all the rooms. Our friends in another room had all the channels. |

Nice quiet location about 4 to 5 miles from Birmingham City Centre. Five minutes from Star City Complex. Public transport difficult to get to but hotel can easily get you taxi. Private car park with special Ladies only zone right outside main entrance. |

The hotel was easy to find. The receptionist at check in was very helpful and polite. The room was great and exactly what we wanted, spacious, comfy and great value for money. The breakfast the following morning was top drawer. All in all an excellent stay N/A |

The parking was very good and just across the road from Star City. Close to Bull ring, city centre. Room a nice size. No bath just shower, and not much milk for coffee. Only 3 pillows for a double room when asked for one more was laughed at. Breakfast was appalling, awful and the service terrible. No clean cutlery, glasses or spoons to stir coffee. Staff bit miserable on the whole to be honest. One was friendly. |

visited Star City & Thintank museum in Birmingham The bathroom smelt unclean and there was mould in the shower. I would not recommend this hotel for single female travellers due to it's location, although there is reserved parking outside the reception for single females. You definately need a car to get to the hotel. |
