Reasonable price, breakfast satisfactory.

Lots of noise could be heard from room above in early hours of the morning. Lift broken. Deafening alarm went off in the room about 7.30am waking my young child.

It was clean and what we wanted a cheap room.Bed was very comfy and had everything we needed in the room.Lovely weekend away.

Friendly staff. Good location for NEC and city centre.

Breakfast was dull. Coffee machine not always on.

Good location for getting into town if you don't want to drive, plenty of bus services. Good eating places.

Entry from the main road not sign posted well enough. Breakfast disappointing not as advertised on the menu, sausages were not meaty enough, tasted too much of a stuffing mix, bacon & tomatoes would have been appreciated. when I asked for fruit, I was given an orange & an apple, not chopped as advertised on the menu.

bed and pillows where so uncomfortable... had next to no sleep.

room had hairdryer & ironing board, spacious, good bathroom, lots of pillows. tv -WITH remote!

uht style milk, coffee mate would be great. cheap loo roll as always, can hear people in the corridor, but same everywhere so not a major issue. Perhaps people staying in hotels should just be a bit more considerate! :)

liked the location, not far from city centre.

there were 2 of us in the room, but only 1 bath towel was provided. the breakfast ran out at 8.30pm. there were no pastries.

Easily found by my SatNav using the hotel post-code. Friendly welcome, reasonable priced and selection in bar and breakfast area.Room and shower were excellent quality. Security of carpark, easy check-in and check-out.

Nothing it was great.

We had a twin room on the 3rd floor, it was very spacious, the beds were comfortable with a choice of pillows which was a nice touch. The towels were a good size and quality and the soap/shampoo(etc) dispensers in the bathroom were again a brilliant touch. The coffee machine in the lobby was brilliant and gave nice strong hot coffee. The staff were also cheerful and helpful. The hotel is well situated for shopping in birmingham whilst getting away from the main hussle of the city, the train station was a 10 minute walk and then a quick 7 minute train trip to get the bullring and main shopping areas.

The selection of hot breakfast food was not as good as other hotels I have stayed in, however the mini croissants were amazing! There was quite a bit of noise from the funfair at Star City on Friday/Sat night but I am a heavy sleeper so this did not bother me!

There had been road closures due to a major fire in the area of the hotel.We called on the way down and were given help and advice by the duty staff which got us to the hotel. On arrival we were provided with comprehensive information about the local bus service. Made to feel welcome.

My daughters cot wasnt the most comfortable, i had to make it a bit more comfortable with extra sheets.

Very clean hotel and very comfy bed. Great price, free onsite parking and very close to Star City.

Couldn't get the temperature right in the room so I was a bit warm. And why no bacon at breakfast?! (plenty other stuff to choose from though)

The hotel is very well located near motorways, but we couldn't hear any noise! Lovely and quiet! The Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them to help. Great entertainment, restaurant and shopping complex across the road. The buffet breakfast was good and varied and included in the price. A very good stay overnight, thank you.

The twin beds were very close to each other; more like a double with a slit down the middle! The phone didn't work and I had to tweak the batteries in the TV controller for it to work in the double room! The staff were apologetic about them.

Very comfortable and clean hotel. Well located for public transport into the city centre and star city entertainment complex is a 5 minute walk away. We will definitely be returning.
