It was one of the best of the small b&b houses I have stayed in the room was cleaner tidier and more spacious than some of the so called better hotels.we were only staying the weekend Audrey brought in decaf tea for my wife.the view from the bedroom as we woke each morning was just tremendous. Will have to return during summer months It got dark at 4.30 pm......

The friendliness of Audrey the owner, as well as great breakfasts and a gorgeous location and views near Ben Nevis, made this a brilliant place to stay. A big thumbs up to this b & B.

Bed and breakfast was very clean and comfortable. our rooms were bright and airy with a lovely view from the main bedroom window. Our land lady Audrey was pleasant and helpful, gave us lots of good tips on queries we had and where best to see some Highland cattle!! Our breakfast was really good and very tasty. Overall our stay was a pleasant one and we enjoyed our stay in Fortwilliam, a very sceinic part of Scotland. We did not like having to decide the night before (by 8pm) what we would like to have for breakfast the following morning, and if you had not filled out this on the menu form and leave it down for collection by 8pm you may not get breakfast (the form said!!!)

Very comfortable clean room with good view of the loch. Quiet location. Over-priced as a B&B out of town. Wi-fi temperamental. 15 minute walk to nearest restaurant or shop. The 'vegetarian breakfast' option was just the meaty breakfast without the meat.

The location is great. The view is outstanding. The room was very clean and the food was very good. You are only 1/2 mile from the main shopping area that is filled with good shops and places to eat. You can even buy petrol in the center of town next to the train station. A day trip on the Jacobite steam train is a must. If you are driving, take a-82 from Port William to Glasgow. It is one of the most beautiful trips you will ever take.

Lovely location and quite comfortable and Audrey was very helpful. small tv and another room with one that didn't work. Quite expensive for a regular B&B so these things should be addressed.

We had the King Room with a breathtaking view on the Loch and a wonderful bed in which you are bound to oversleep. The breakfast which was delicious and personalized for each guest on demand, was only served until 08.30. For late sleepers (having such a good rest in the great bed) that could be hard. Nevertheless it offers the opportunity to start a long active day in a wonderful area.

It was a nice small b&b for adults. The breakfast choices were very good and the en-suite bedroom with a view over the loch was wonderful. If you are going to stay here I would advise that you travel by car - we did a train journey and that really lacked convenience for then getting around the area. Also, because of the train we arrived early - if you're going to have to do that then phone Audrey in advance and she will let you drop your bags - you will not get into your room before 4pm but the 'wait' is worth it if you have the same room as we did.. There was only 1 armchair in this double room.

“The hotel is a ittle out of town, a 20 minute walk alongside the loch, or a short trip by car. There is a 44/46 bus runs about hourly too. The hotel is very pleasing to look at and well decorated inside, with all amenities and a very pleasant welcome from the proprietor. Breakfast was quite ample. We'll go there again.” Mr., Horsham |
