Fantastic hotel, great location and friendly staff, what more could you ask for!
No complimentary water in the room :-(
Excellent food, staff, service and comfort.
Great location, breakfast was excellent, staff were all great!
Nothing at all
spa and room
restaurant was not up to standard and food was too expensive for what was presented. You feel as if you are sitting in a bar, tables are needing replaced as varnish was coming off. Hotel claims to be 5 star, it is not 5 star
Spa was great and very relaxing! Quite busy but understandable as we stayed on a Friday night. Bar was nice for a few drinks before bed and reasonably priced. Breakfast was fantastic!
That we only stayed for one night! Will definetly be back
Spa Room Breakfast Cocktail Bar
Door man helpful Great spa Excellent breakfast
The room and the service was excellent unfortunately we missed out on the spa
The air conditioning Wasn't working properly but the staff gave us a fan which sorted everything .
The hotel had a quiet graceful feel to it. It was a pleasant walk to the shops and restaurants. The staff were helpful and friendly. The bed was so comfortable. We got upgraded to suite which was very spacious.
Fantastic location, excellent staff, we really couldn't praise this Hotel enough , compared to the overpriced hotels were used to in Aberdeen this place really shines ....
Beautiful hotel, brilliant staff, gorgeous breakfast, had a lovely stay, a very happy customer
Without doubt this is our favourite hotel in Glasgow with great staff throughout. Would highly recommend this hotel.
The Spa and Thermal experience were awesome. Food and drink superlative. The room and the en suite "wet room" were very comfortable, with loads of room for storing stuff.
Great location, beautiful building and surroundings. Loved all the harris tweed and the thought put into the decor & luxurious bathrooms. Cocktails were amazing! Staff at breakfast were very efficient and thoughtful.
Reception staff seemed rushed and didn't explain the hotel, bedroom or spa. The room very stuffy and window opened onto noisy fan. One of the two twin beds pushed together was higher than the other and much firmer than the other. The softer one dipped quite a lot so was much less comfortable. The spa was a wow at first but it became clear that updating was needed as a few if the buttons for water jets did not work. The full Scottish breakfasts were ok, but not of quality expected for the hotel, eg the sausages were cheap meat. I felt for the price and the stars the hotel did not meet the standard.
Very quiet, spacious and sumptuous room. Beautiful spa, lovely breakfast, fantastic staff
Fire alarm testing!
The bath and breakfast
Check in time could be earlier although our room was ready early
NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE FOR THEM. VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL.
Everything Beds were so comfortable Staff very attentive Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant was exceptional
The fact that there was only one lift which was constantly busy so much so that we had to wait 10mins to get in it as it went straight from the 5th floor to the spa without having space when it stopped at our floor. Spa overcrowded as only available free of charge from 6 - 9pm in the evening or I believe 7-10am Could do with longer free use of the thermal area to stop the mad rush of guests at 6pm.
Great location, lovely rooms and very helpful staff.
Old style service and ambience. Very pleasant staff, luxurious room and tasty food
I liked the fact that every time i go back i never get bored of it.
My husband has been twice and dosent like how soft the beds are i on the other hand slept soundly and most comfortable.
Room was lovely, good choice of films, nice food - could have greater variety for Vegetarians for evening meal. Staff very helpful and great cocktails.
Room very hot - noisy as motorbikes outside a lot and loud music playing.
Loved the extra friendly staff
Hated the sloping bed and poor quality sausages
