Accepted 12.45a.m check in . charming staff. Proper toast at breakfast
Decor drab and old fashioned. No mattress protector on the bed.
Location, food. OK if needing somewhere to stay before or after ferry.
Good location for the getting the early morning ferry. The evening meal was decent and not bad value, helped by the friendly and efficient staff.
Decor could do with a makeover, bit of a cold atmosphere at reception.
Pleasant outlook on waterfront and cosy atmosphere.
Stairs to bedrooms difficult with cases.
Shower room lack of toiletries Menu in Bar poor Breakfast choice very limited Room Very cold, heating switched off early
Everyone very friendly and food delicious. Nice sized room and bath. Good view of marina. We even did a weeks' worth of laundry at the marina across the street. Everyone was so very nice.
Food is good as is the wait staff Reception was very welcoming and staff always friendly and helpful Location was wonderful for hiking and views Relaxed atmosphere and rules for pets were very reasonable
This is an old place with rickety floors and stairs which made it tough to move suitcase in and out Bathrooms were a bit tricky, with no spot for toiletries and limited space generally
very nice staff
Great location for catching the ferry to dublin. Room clean and comfy. Staff helpful.
All good no dislikes
Love the location. Staff were very helpful and the room was excellent with a view of the harbor. Would definitely stay again.
Nothing to dislike.
Cheap and cheerful with excellent value. More than you pay for actually.
food was nice and staff friendly
lack of mobile signal-however that is same as on the island in general
Free parking, very comfortable quiet room, location for ferry was perfect.warm and cleanish and quiet.go with the continental breakfast
No phone reception on either orange or Vodafone, reception had a big fat man who couldn't check us in, not welcomed by lady owner upon arrival...After that we saw nobody but the unfriendly rude lady who was running the complete breakfast solo...greasiest cold breakfast with a way undercooked sausage, a crust was used for the wettest fried bread, mushrooms oozed oil, stale cold awkward atmosphere in dining room, needs a local radio..no herbal teas...think its overpriced at £80 a nite..overall every staff member was rude and unfriendly. .For that I wouldn't return
Decor of an old building tastefully done, combining the lovely, old dado rails etc with funky matching wallpaper, pictures and bedding. Good location by the marina. Best cooked breakfast ever eaten in a hotel!
So nice to be able to bring your dog with you.
We were on a BnB touring holiday to UK and Ireland. The location near the ferry too and from Ireland and the Boathouse Hotel as a drop off point for our hire car made this a convenient place to stay the night.
The views, the staff, the relaxed atmosphere
No wifi in room, signal only available down stairs
Lovely location. Good food. Very friendly , clean and comfortable
Food was good. Room and bed were comfortable enough. Washroom was extremely small.
Very small and no towel racks in the bathroom. Carpet throughout hallways and common areas torn and threadbare but room was clean.
We had a comfortable night's rest in the Boathouse Hotel before travelling back to Dublin. The staff were polite and accommodating and the food was good.
no pillowcase on my second pillow. Television too small for room. Bedroom and bathroom need upgrading.
A lovely evening meal and full breakfast that set me up for the day. All staff were very friendly and accommodating.
WiFi was intermittant. Guests and others coming through the bar/lounge area to smoke outside bring in their smoke whilst I was eating.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was great for our ferry trip to Dublin the next day and we received most courteous and helpful service. We enjoyed the large tastefully furnished room and the bed was most comfortable. The view onto the boats and water frontage was lovely. It was also very convenient to be able to dine on the premises and the food and service were excellent. We loved exploring the glorious Holyhead national park, which was in close proximity. We would recommend this hotel most warmly.
Ease of room to Bar & Resturant
The person above me walking the floor untill early Hrs of the morning The shelves in both bedroom and Bathroom not fixed correctly and were not fixed after requsesting them to be done, 10 mins work ???
the staff especially front of house were attentive without being over bearing. The food was prepared quickly and of a good standard. Service in the restaurant and bar was excellent with a good degree of friendliness but not intrusion. Catching the early ferry to Ireland was extremely easy in the morning, being a comfortable 7 minute drive from the hotel along the sea front.
Nice location for coastal walking - but I wasn't! A 15 mile drive to the race circuit but good roads. The staff were all very pleasant, friendly and engaging. Great breakfasts.
The bed was a little small - OK for one but not two. The bathroom extractor fan sounded like a Merlin.
