I was pleasantly surprised to find an excellent hotel at the price it was clean comfortable and very pleasant I would definitely go there again
Used going and returning from Dublin, found it very good. recommend the fish and chips
Staff very friendly. Good choice of food.
Food, relaxed atmosphere, bathroom, staff, cleanliness and location.
Nothing - everything was perfect. Would definately stay again.
Location and quality of breakfast
Smell of beer on arrival - lack of air freshners
The location was fantastic, so peaceful.Easy to find and plenty of parking. staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. room quite small but had everything we needed and overlooked the harbour, lovely. breakfast was good, plenty of it & hot. had our evening meals in the hotel too and the food was really good. service quick even though food cooked to order and was piping hot. would definitely stay here again.
nothing, everything was lovely about the hotel.
Great location close to ferry
Food! spotless room as they allow dogs in rooms!!nice views!!
Very large Portions size food soo much went back! Little dated bit chintzy!
location. comfort. price. quietness.
wifi a bit tricky - may have been our pc.
Very remote and has excellent views of the harbour and sea etc good walks, the main lady works extremely hard to keep customers happy which is nice, can't comment on food as I dined out but it does have a nice simple bar to sit at.
No phone signal whatsoever (obviously not the hotels fault just pointing out) only wifi spot is in reception which is alittle frustrating as my room was 5 feet away !! My room was very large but had the smallest tv on the wall I've ever seen lol and it barely worked :S other than that it was ok.. I'd sum it up as a nice simple remote basic hotel with friendly staff for a fair price. Looked like a great place to stop off if you were travelling by boat but I was just on business and didn't experience everything.
Great place to meet relatives we were looked after and it was very relaxed with excellent meals. We will be back next year.
friendly staff good breakfast clean and tidy room
Great location for the marina Food was terrific staff were great would use again if im in holyhead
location and view was excellent .
The price of the food is disgusting. We have stayed in Top Hotels and never paid anything like the prices they charge. £17.99 for a steak. £3.45 for a pint of larger. £1.40 for a can of coke. Lamb shank £15.99. Other customers also commented on the High prices.
staff and food
slightly high priced
Maybe a little dated but warm and cosy , very friendly helpful staff . The food was excellent and the hotel throughout was spotlessly clean and the location perfect. Great value for money.
People came in as their ferry had been cancelled it was 3 minutes after they stop serving dinner. There was only 3 people that came in and they wouldn't even make them a sandwich.
The location and parking. No passing traffic. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of selection on the evening menu. Lovely views of the marina.
2 comfortable chairs in the bedroom would be appreciated so as to watch tv or read in comfort.
Location to harbour
The place is very 'tired'
The hotel itself is small, warm and friendly. My room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The dining room has lovely decor, making meal times very enjoyable.Breakfast is early which suits me as I am always an early riser. As I have Arthritis, it was a huge bonus they offer Lunch and Dinner, save me having to search around the town for places to eat, the food was very tasty. Even when busy you never have long to wait for food :) The hotel has stunning views and you can see the Ferries coming and going and its not far from the harbour. Overall the staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. Would I return? Certainly!!
Minor thing, shame there isn't a room downstairs.
Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff; cleanliness of the room and facilities. Reasonably good breakfast choice and dinner menu.
Very thin walls around Room 5 which I was in, meaning a lot of noise from the corridors during the late hours of the night; luckily I brought ear plugs with me!
Friendly staff. Convenient location for ferry.
Expensive for what you get.
The staff were very friendly and would go out of their way to accommodate your needs. The food was lovely. The immediate surrounding area was beautiful.
Our room had only a very small window so it was extremely hot in there.
It was clean
TV to small, shower wasn't powerful couldn't regulate the temperature.
