Lovely ambience and restaurant and food were good

Breakfast would have been pricey for what was offered if it hasn't been included in our deal.

The hotel was clean, tidy and very welcoming with friendly helpful staff

My ONLY disappointment was the bed in our room was very low and difficult to get in and out of

good food, found it very relaxing

Friendly, helpful staff. Room cosy, good bathroom. Meals were very good. Was nice to be able to relax in the lounge area after dinner. Hotel has a very relaxed feeling Will definitely stay again.

Missing tv channels such as bbc1 - but not exactly a big deal! Next to main road which made it easy to find but potentially noisy - however, room was very quiet.

The facilities in the room were more than sufficient and of good quality. The limited dining menu which meant that everything was prepared when ordered and presented very attractively.

I would have preferred to have my account for each dinner presented to me to check before it was added to my account. In the event there was an error (in my favour!) that I had to have corrected.

Food and service was excellent. Rooms were modern, clean and comfortable

Very friendly welcome. The room was spacious and very clean, lovely and warm too. The bed was very comfortable.

We must have had a room above the kitchen as there was a smell of food cooking in the evening and morning.

One bed in room had mattress that had seen better day(nights).

A very good breakfast. The cooked breakfast or the Scrambled eggs with salmon is highly recommended. Stayed in a different room this time and still very good.

The hotel was particularly easy to find. I had been personally to an event at Lasborough which was particularly hard to find so coming a short distance down the road and finding the hotel just on the road was great. We had a drink in the garden and dinner indoors. Our waiter was very helpful and the food was excellent. Our room was spacious and comfortable and we slept well after a stressful day

We had a delicious cooked breakfast of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs but, if you hadn't wanted a cooked breakfast, I thought the continental alternative was a bit minimalist. There were some Germans in the dining room and they might have preferred some cheese and ham on the buffet table. There was no fresh fruit or tinned fruit which are easy things to provide. My husband got very frustrated with the reception desk. The man there did not seem very computer literate and this slowed things up quite a lot.

Lovely large room and great breakfast. We were visiting for a wedding nearby and staff allowed us to get ready in another room as we arrived earlier than check in. Friendly relaxed atmosphere on the edge of the cotswolds, great value for money.

I found the bed to be a bit uncomfortable but am quite particular with beds! Also toilet flush made quite a loud noise for a while after flushing

Beautiful location,lovely grounds,very nicely decorated throughout,the room was very comfortable and clean,the food we had was excellent and the service from the staff was very efficient but friendly...we will be back because we thought it was a very special place and loved it......

Good location, just needed some sun! Reasonable distance from our cconference venue.

Could start breakfast earlier 8am start.

Staff incredibly helpful - I was running late for a wedding in the area and desperately needed a taxi and the owner bent over backwards to get me there on time! He even offered a member of staff to take us but luckily he found a taxi for us. He let us check in early too to get changed in time for the wedding. The hotel is very cosy and in beautiful grounds. I would recommend it.
