Bodysgallen Hall and Spa  

The gardens were amazing and warmer than the cottage we stayed in

Too expensive for a cute cottage with bad central heating. The bathroom was an arctic zone

Very comfortable and if we were in the area again we would stay there.

The only thing that bugged me was the door that the staff used which was below our cottage banged every time they when through,this was from just after 7am till early evening.otherwise ok.

Excellent staff, food, accommodation and spa facilities. The Garden Cottage where we stayed was beautiful. The gardens and surroundings were beautiful and peaceful.

It was an original experience to stay in a historic hall with history and to have exceptional facilities on the doorstep

The spa experience was brilliant at one point we had the pool, sauna and steamroom all to ourselves

Staying in a hotel with such a long history was a wonderful experience. The service, location and facilities were first class.

I liked the age of the buildings and the cottage we stayed in was very spacious and private

As every the location is in magical setting the staff are attentive without being intrusive and the cottages situated in the grounds are just perfect

Gardens and landscaping

The gardens, the building, the room.

Finding it. Navigator put us in the wrong spot and the address was another road from the one it is actually off of.

This was a beautiful location, well maintained and with incredible service- oriented staff. The room spaces were generous and the common areas well appointed and spacious. The grounds are delightful. Staff were accommodating to our wishes.

The place is isolated so that if one is without a vehicle, it is necessary to use a taxi to get anywhere. It is expensive, especially the breakfasts.

素晴らしい風景、庭　環境　ホテルの皆様の応対　ﾚｽﾄﾗﾝの味　何も不満なところがありません。特に　ホテル内の庭は　英国庭園の素晴らしさも居ながらにして　味わう事ができました。

Magnificent setting of the castle in the meticulously maintained gardens, elegant furniture and decoration throughout the hotel, generously heated and welcoming swimming pool, arguably one of the nicest dining rooms we have seen: taking in the sun-set and overlooking the gardens as well as Conwy castle, well-trained and very friendly hotel staff, and - while the hotel may not be focused on families per se - we found ourselves very, very welcome as a family (12y and 7y).

The pool access times for children could be a little more generous (though the staff showed some much appreciated flexibility...)

Bodysgallen is a very pleasant place to stay. The gardens are wonderful. The food is excellent.

Die Cottage sind wunderschön, ruhig gelegen, ausser ein Cottage in der Nähe des Spas. Dort ist der Strassenlärm der Talstrasse während des Tages hörbar.

Stunning country manor that was beautifully restored. Staff were gracious and attentive but could have benn more knowledgable about the building given it is the highlight of a stay here. Breakfast was excellent and personnel went out of their way to reset the table we wanted

At dinner in the bistro, staff seemed somewhat junior for such a quality hotel and were nor well informed regarding the menu. Olive oil served with appetiser was not of a grade usually served with bread and was tasteless and not first press or even extra virgin, despite mentioning it twice and being brought more of the same, we were advised that the chef said it was the same as served in the main house/restaurant. Had this been removed from our bill, the loss of very tiny revenue for the hotel would have reaped huge reward and not soured what was otherwise a delicious meal and wonderful stay at the Hall.

Atmosphere

The cottage main room was somewhat draughty, the biscuit barrel had two rather forgotten biscuits (better none than that), in the same sense a kitchen without even a glass! And more; to give the sense certainly not of luxury even perhaps not sure of what the ambition is.

The setting is magnificent, the gardens are gorgeous and the ambience delightful. Very peaceful, luxurious surroundings but close by seaside resort, theatre and stunning scenery of Snowdonia
