Quality Hotel Boldon  

I decided to stay at the Boldon Hotel due to it's location and because it had a gym. Also, compared to Premier Inn's in the area it was competitively priced.

This was the second time I have stayed here and on both occasions the breakfast was poor. It was luke warm boardering on cold and dry. Also,the plates were cold which didn't help.

The staff and welcome were excellent. Nothing too much trouble.

Low capacity capability of the WiFi system. If they want to be a true business hotel then they need to correct this urgently.

The rooms, leisure facilities & parking were excellent

Very slow service & lack of choice at breakfast. We paid £10 per person for breakfast, and it wasn't worth it

We've stayed here many times while it was getting renovated and have been very happy, that's why we came back over and over again, must say I was not 100% this time, was not cleaned to my standards but don't think this will put us off coming again

Having read previous reviews we were not disappointed by what we found when we arrived. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, a credit to the hotel! The place itself was clean bright relaxing and comfortable. Breakfast was good once we had mastered the toaster! The pool and spa area was great too, so you must check this out. Would recommend to everyone and would certainly stay here again. Thank you to all the staff!

The fan in the bathroom was loud, the sink and bath had cracks in them and the phone point didn't work. Having said this none of these really affected our stay, and were outweighed by all the good points mentioned above!!

Poor quality breakfasts (i.e bacon hard and dry, eggs plastic, beans dry and hard, constantly having to ask for bread, juice and cereal bowls), tables not set correctly for breakfast, breakfast service, lack of room service, room not cleaned thoroughly, bathroom mirror not cleaned at all ( there was a very personal message highlighted when the mirror steamed up), lack of bath towels ( I had to ask for a second set of towels every day of our stay). Extremely noisey room heater.

Me and my girlfreind have been to the quality hotel in boldon 3 times. First 2 times the alarm went off and the last time we had random people walk into our room in the middle of the night which I'm really not happy about. I left my email address as I was told the manager would be in touch however I have had no response

Lovely staff, great facilities. 2 minute walk from an entertainment complex

Bed was 2 singles pushed together. Pillow cases were dirty.

Staff at receprion and the bar were helpful & friendly; hotel is well located and easy to find.

The bathroom was very outdated and in run-down condition. Desperately needs refit & modernising.

Now the facilities are there this really is a great value for money hotel. Pool , Sauna , Steam Room and Jacuzzi... Good Bar.

The staff were, as usual, wonderful. At Xmas we stayed at a Premier Inn where they cliam to give you a good night's sleep...RUBBISH! The bed was hard as nails, the pillows flat and the bathroom floor was dirty and there was no door on the wardrobe. From now on, it is The Quality Inn, Boldon for us every visit to the north east, and we go there up to 6 times a year. (Written by Mrs Cracknell)

The fire alarm going off at one A.M. tv turning itself on every morning at 6:30 A.am. No one seemed to be able to fix this problem while we were there.
