We really enjoyed the gym and pool facilities. It was great that we could use them after our room check out time too, that meant we were able to enjoy our breakfast at leisure, pack up our things, then stroll over to the gym and enjoy the lovely facilities. Best gym I've been to! It was clean, brand new equipment, relaxing, private and lovely staff. 2 pools, 2 jacuzzis, 2 saunas plus more!! Great. Th room was clean and comfy. We would definitely use again.

Staff were very professional and also very friendly. Made the stay very welcoming. Food was first rate and the chef knew how to cook a steak properly, quite a rarity (no pun intended) nowadays The leisure facilities were not of the best, you were made to fee second rate as you weren't paying. The hotel staff made a great deal of the rooms but they were not even to a standard i have experienced in a Premier Inn and the bathroom left a lot to be desired.

Bedroom nice, quiet and spacious. Meal at the tribute night was enjoyable. Leisure and evening event was a walk away in the grounds. Although not far, wasn't good when snow on the ground and over cobbles! Had to go back for walmer clothing and to change shoes. Thought was within the hotel. Breakfast very poor. Long queue waiting for buffet to be restocked. Bacon and sausage poor quality and not cooked for long enough. Felt dissatisfied overall with the weekend break as dissappointed with more than one thing.

Room was clean and comfortable - very quiet as hotel occupancy seemed very low Food was indifferent. The chips looked as if they had been fried in oil that should have been changed weeks ago.

The staff were absolutely fantastic. I arrived at the hotel feeling quite stressed because of an important report that needed some additional work that was completely unexpected. I didn't have my laptop with me and so asked the receptionist if there was a computer that I could use. She said there wasn't but she did make some arrangements for me to use one of their laptops and even arranged for a quiet spot in the lounge because of my need for confidentiality. Other staff helped me set up and finish off - very impressive communication, co-ordination and general helpfulness. I didn't like the difficulty of finding the hotel - I kept thinking I'd put the wrong postcode in when I was being led through all the back streets of Bury. My satnav took me into an industrial estate next door but thankfully because it was dark I could see all the lights and so knew to drive further up the road.

Attentive staff, comfort and cleanliness. The large screen tv being on all evening. There is no option but to watch or hear it. It is not everybody's idea of relaxation. No cappuccino.

The staff were excellent, breakfast staff in particular. I am very glad that I spoke to Stefan (the manager) when I was checking out as he was able to advise me of an ideal hotel near to my client the next week. In fact, it was another hotel in the chain, and their staff booked me in straight away, which was a great time saving. They were also very kind in arranging to set-up my Best Western frequent stayer club points.Probably the friendliest hotel staff I have met in a long time. Prices of bar meals was astonishingly good value - sandwich plus chips and salad for about a fiver. The menu typeface was a little small. No reason why it could not have been larger. Also, when arriving I assumed that there was no team and coffee facilities in the room, and was quite annoyed, but I later found them hidden away in a cupboard. I migfht never have looked in there. Either leave them out or put a notice somewhere, I suggest.
