Score from 817 reviews Very good
Close to the M61 motorway, the hotel offers free parking and a Harvester restaurant, 2 minutes' walk from Horwich Parkway Railway Station and the Reebok Stadium (for Bolton Wanderers FC).

Score from 227 reviews Good
The bed was very comfortable and the showers very good Polite staff and no problems Would stay again
The receptionist was friendly helpful & helpful.
Breakfast was awful. Went to breakfast at 10 am an hour before it finished. There was no hot food. Hot food started to come out in dribs and drabs but had long term intervals. Didn't get a proper breakfast so went for food elsewhere despite paying the hotel
Friendly staff, comfortable room.
Breakfast was not well stocked, very little hot food and couldnt wait as had a business meeting. Hence, only fruit.
The staff were helpful and location is central with restaurant and bar offering good choices
Paid wi-fi - for an upgraded executive suite I find this poor when even the local Macdonald's offer it free... Also the tea and coffee making machine was a kettle.. I could see no difference between the double room stayed in recently and this upgraded package.
Breakfast was one of the worst breakfast I've ever had. I would not pay for the breakfast here.
The location of the hotel is good, in the centre of Bolton though surrounded by empty buildings and shops.
The underground car park is small and the spaces are tight to get in and out. The staff was disinterested and the breakfast is not really worth the money. The hotel looks a bit tired and in need of modernisation.
more like a college building with modem hotel inside
Bolton need more hotel
Standard Holiday Inn fare.
I didn't like anything at all
Booked a DOUBLE room and had two single beds! Two bowls of chips came to £10
Receptionist was very friendly and helpful
This must be one of the only hotel chains still charging for Wifi which having paid £10 for is pretty poor taking ages to download. Could not get the room heating to adjust it was too warm.
Everything. Clean and very cosy. Staff were very kind to because we woke up 45minutes late of checkout but they were very nice about it
Well my wife didn't like the bathroom but I just thought paying for the wifi. I use hotels a lot and the majority of them I don't pay for wifi
Excellent hotel friendly staff. Great facilities. Rooms lovely and clean
Only negative was room was too hot even with the window open
Enjoyed using the pool during the stay and the shower itself.
The car park was very small, overcrowded in relation to the size of the hotel and the amount of people that stay.
the breakfast is awesome well worth the extra money the Staff arefriendly and helpful
The only bad thing I have to say is that the drinks in the bar are really over priced 8.20 for a diserano and coke!
Gym was tired and old . The pool was not working. The room look like it had been painted by a blind man. The straff were unhelpful . Breakfast was poor
Clean, well organised hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Pool and gym. Pool was lovely to have and uncrowded. Gym was small but had everything I wanted. Internet access was supposed to be £10 per day but you could register for their rewards program and get it free, which I did - delighted! Overall excellent, and I would choose this for all future visits to Bolton.
Breakfast shut a bit early for my liking (930) but they let me squeeze in at the last minute. Parking was tight and on one day full, but they have a free method of parking in a commercial car park opposite, although this has to be renewed daily. On the whole I am happy to recommend it for anyone coming in a car.
Good Caesar salad two types of pillow thermostatic valve on rad that you could adjust to suit
no mattress topper or cushioned protector between mattress and bottom sheet - can feel the mattress underneath no earl grey or herbal tea in the room, only uht milk. no free wifi (and the room still cost £90) wall lights positioned in places that serve no useful purpose (above the tv?!) tv on desk taking up space when could be wall hung bath has weird bulge in the middle that makes it too narrow to lie in comfort.
Comfortable bed, location and great breakfast, though not cheap.
underground car park a bit crowded.
I really liked when the management had put some balloons and a card for us on our 18th anniversary night at holiday inn it was really touchy, the only thing was that v had to pay the breakfast which was 14.99 per head but other than that everthing was good few misunderstantings abt the bed cause u hd put the card and gave us a 2 single beds but later when i mentioned they changed it straight away i raelly appreciate the service and infact planning again to stay in march
Location - very close to central Bolton
Very noisey, room doors slam very hard so anytime someone goes in or out of a room near yours, you will be woken up. General decor is quite shabby and doesn't feel very clean.
The bed was ao comfy
Bed was really comfy and breakfast was excellent.
Bathroom was a bit dated and smelt a bit damp
Staff were really good. Breakfast one of the best if you had it included in your booking.
Paying for WiFi most other hotel groups give it free. Seems a bit Ryan Air to me.
Most of the staff are very nice especially an elderly lady at the reception. She was fantastic
I was asked what time I would check in on the website but I was shocked when I got there and the room wasn't ready. I got there early though but I expected a better treatment than being left in the cold, very cold seat at the reception. Thank God for the compassionate elderly lady at the reception.
