Staff were friendly and efficient and the food was good, if a bit pricey.
I was asked whether I preferred two singles or a double. Being well over six feet tall and 15 st, single beds are very uncomfortable, so I asked for a double room with a double bed. They gave me a single bed on which I spent an uncomfortable night.
On site parking, good breakfast, quiet comfortable room.
The underground car park is very tight for a large car but the outdoor one is good.
I stay at the holiday inn quite a lot as well as through work however after this experience I will be reviewing my options. The room was very noisey and the staff gave me a breakfast voucher even though I didn't want it and then charged me
This is a great hotel in a great location. The room was clean and the car park facility was definitely a PLUS ! The breakfast self serve was also wonderful
Having to pay for internet access !! For a hotel that caters to business folks this was a major MINUS .. and the cost for a 24 hour wifi pass was excessive as far as I'm concerned ... Real shame!
Friendly Staff, Comfortable Rooms, Very Clean.
No mention of the times for both Breakfast and check-out.
The breakfast was cold and on the morning that we had it, it all looked very dried. It would have been better to not have as much on display - didnt look appertizing.
Staff were helpful Breakfast
Furniture appeared a little dated
Great breakfast and the breakfast bar was kept well stocked with fresh food. The location was ideal for our shopping trip as it is right in the town centre.
The hotel was very busy but this was to be expected in the run up to Christmas with office parties etc. however one evening the hotel hosted a Thai boxing event which seemed to result in the whole of our floor being sprayed with deep heat ointment. The smell was overpowering and even when we returned home the smell was still in our clothes.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and relatively spacious. Breakfast was a very good standard. Ideal location as right in the middle of Bolton.
The car park was very tight and the way in and way out was not clearly marked from the main road. My room was located opposite the lift shaft which was really noisy with people coming and going. All I could here was 'door' opening 'door closing'. So did not get a good night sleep. One other mention I booked and paid for a double room and ended up with a twin as being a single traveler. Which did not bother me as the company was paying. But I was paying I would have complained. If you pick a different room you will have a comfortable stay.
being made welcome.
Good housekeeping Power shower Soft fluffy towels Parking Location
Bedside cabinet needed repairing Room 224 is a very noisy room, needs extra glazing, extremely noisy from the traffic Room was cold, heating not on all the time Cheap coffee sachets, for the price should be branded coffee No complimentary water, this should be standard
Staff when booking in
Staff member who said "1person 1 towel" when i asked for two towels for the gym.
Helpfulness of staff, the showers in the rooms. We had a great stay overall and would stay again.
The aircon in the changing room beside the pool - it was freezing! The showers there were a bit poor too.
The location is so good. Close to the city centre. The staff is helpful and sweet. Breakfast is so great.
The room is so noisy. Did not sleep good, so were tired in the next day, which is not satisfied this time.
The standard of the hotel is excellent for those who are forced to stay away from home.
Extortionate breakfast costs. The room price was within my business limit but the over priced breakfast was not, forcing me to leave the hotel early and seek breakfast elsewhere.
The air con wasn't working made the room hot.
Everything was perfect staff were helpfull and welcoming.....
Stayed at hotel for a friends wedding which was at the town hall so it was the closest found the room very comfortable a spacious facilities where good
found the breakfast prices and bar drinks a bit pricey also coffees pricey
Perfect hotel - thoroughly recommend booking the excellent breakfast for a fiver.
Wifi wasn't simple to get on
Staff were brilliant, rooms were very clean. Value for money!
Wi-fi should be free!
Wifi was no good
Smoking rooms, late night service at the bar, comfy bed and good shower
Breakfast too early so missed it, drink prices way too pricey
Use of pool, helpful and friendly staff.
A bit noisy in the night - room near lift and noisy guests/staff in early hours of morning; no handcream or hair conditioner, no iron in room - only a trouser press, which is a bit sexist!!
