Very good,
Score from 121 reviews
“I founds all the staff very friendly and helpful, in fact they were the best hotel staff I have ever experienced. The hotel is in a great location, with the town centre virtually on the doorstep. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and great value for money. I would definately stay here again and recommend this to all my friends.”

Will never stay again as I paid £114.00 to be woken by windowcleaners banging on the window at 0530 am , if it was a premier inn I would have got my money back

Warm and friendly staff. Good meals. The receptionist changed my room on her own initiative because I was a woman travelling alone - very pleased about this. Lighting in my room was rather dim. Realise this is sometimes because of the low energy bulbs needing to warm up, but needed to do some reading and the lighting was insufficient.

Conveniently situated for an overnight stay to attend a family party. The facilities were fairly standard, but the staff were all friendly and efficient. The breakfast was again the usual standard hotel fayre, but well cooked and presented and again the dining room maitre- de and the waitresses were efficient and friendly. The bathroom was small and the bath difficult to access - for an older [well fleshed!] couple; but again every thing was clean and as it should be.

The quality of the food in restaurant. The bar area and restaurant is next to the door where smokers congregate. Every time the doors opened smoke blew in. There seemed to be a group of darts players staying. Most were a bit loud, which is okay, but some were a bit foul mouthed, which did not seem right with young children present.

I cannot give you any comments due to the fact I did not enjoy my stay For a 4 star hotel the room was at a standard that I would expect from a travel lodge. No iron, 2 teabags, no biscuits, curtains did not draw, poor tv selection, furtiture falling to peices, budget breakfast

The receptionist was friendly and helpful upon arrival. All staff very lovely and accomodating. The hotel was clean and in good repair. However there was a very strong smell of cooking in the foyer which was a little off putting. The room, 417, was clean and very comfortable and quiet. The bar was again comfortable, though very pricey for wine! I buy a bottle for a lot less than you charge for a glass. I can't see how that can be justified. The breakfast was really good value though and delicious. I didn't get to use the superb facilities on offer though they did look brilliant. Checkout time was good. All in all though the weekend was excellent in overall value and I will most certainly use Holiday Inn again.

The Holiday Inn is a lovely clean and modern hotel and the staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful - I would recommend this hotel for both personal and business use . Breakfast was quite dear, as I didnt purchase one I can't comment on the quality.

All ok but the television in the room had a green screen and no channels - well bar about 6 - all green! The wardrobe was unusable as it smelled of something like old socks! Nice staff, location, shower and excellent wifi though it was £7. The only option with the terrible in room facilities. It needs an update.

the location was fantastic. It had been recommended to me by a friend. It was everything she said lovely hotel clean and very comfortable. the staff on reception were extremely helpful, and charming. It is close to all the ammenities. we went to the football stadium which also was a first for me and a fantastic experiance, We have collated some brochures from the reception area and will definatlely come back to the Holiday Inn. I have already recommended this hotel to my friends and family. The food was og good quality and a very nice dining area.
