The fact that it is near the town centre and that the deal included breakfast. no biscuits in the rooms, no nibbles (crisps, peanuts) in the bar to have with a drink! The room my mother stayed in smelled strongly of bad drainage (121) and our sink didnt drain properly. Went out to visit relatives fri and sat and couldnt guarantee a parking space was there as there were weddings on both days. The booking I made didnt show on their computer. luckily I brought printout with me otherwise they wouldnt have believed me. |

The staff were very helpful, it seemed nothing was too much trouble. The gym was very small and under equipped. |

we enjoyed being able to use the leisure facilities , such as swimming , sauna , sunbed and gym we was quoted a price via our internet booking , and we reiceved an email booking comfirming the total price which included vat etc , however when we payed on the day for the room we ended up paying more than the original quote an we ended up with a room that smelt rotten with nicotine , although in our preferences we had asked for a none smoking room, also the curtains were in a shabby condition... |

staff were friendly and helpful and responded to requests for things, location very good rooms were dated and dimly lit. aircon was very noisy to the extent that you couldnt sleep with it on which then made it uncomfortable. as the hotel was fully booked we couldnt be moved which is fair enough but the hotel shouldnt be using rooms that have such poor aircon. |

The hotel is well located and the staff were excellent - we arrived after a long drive and just as the restaurant was closing - this wasn't a problem and we had a good meal. |

Everybody was friendly, it was clean and a very nice atmosphere. The beans and mushrooms were cold at breakfast but that's all! |

Free car park, central location, easy to find Noise coming from nearby night club at 4am. Filthy net curtains. Scuffs on bedroom wall. Stains on bedroom carpet. TV remote missing. Hotel tried to charge us £14 each for very average breakfast, although this was included in booking rate. |

The staff (especially the manager) were polite, friendly and helpful. I particularly enjoyed using Club Moativation. I asked for a quiet room and the receptionist was very obliging and assured me that the room would be quiet and indeed it was. I would definitely stay again. I was a little disappointed to see that the floor near the head of the bed had not been vacuumed and was messy from previous guests - one doesn't like to be reminded that someone else has used the room before you and to see evidence of it was a little unpleasant. |

I liked the central location, the staff are always very friendly. The one negitive comment is that the room seems to have become a little tired. When I went to open the window there was mold growing on the wall inside the window recess. |

The food was absolutely horrendous. Dinner was the usual £25.00 Holiday Inn price but the quality was very poor. The fish was dry, the potatoes were old and split, the broccoli was yellow. Both dinner and breakfast were simply awful. |

Close to centre of town The hotel restaurant and bar was cold. The cooked breakfast was cold. No milk in the room for drinks. Problem with room allocation. |

No Heating, Smoking room when non-smoking was needed, mould on the base of the radiator, window sounded 'open' we could hear the club next door - better soundproofing.Had to park on curb no space in car park. See above plus the staff tried to tell us we had no breakfast when we clearly stated it! Seemed 'second-rate' as we had booked through booking.com. |
