Bonnington Hotel  

Friendly owner....and thats about it!

Where do I start...? The bathroom had no soap let alone bodywash, shampoo etc. There was no holder for the shower head so if you wanted to shower you had to hold the hose above you. They have a passes to use a neighbouring hotels facilities but you have to pay and be in quick because they don't have many. You could hear the neighbouring rooms like there are no walls, so we got 3 hours sleep thanks to our snoring neighbours. Our car parking space which we had to pay for was taken within minutes of us heading out to grab a bite to eat. Ended up leaving the Bonnington at 4:30am and thank goodness for the Marriot where we grabbed a hot shower and freshen up. This hotel put a huge downer on our stay in Bournemouth.

The hotel has a very good location.

Unfortunately, our room didn`t have a good system of heating...

we stayed for three days, it was good because the hotel was clean, was located in a good region to go to the center and the beach.

It was paid for a breakfast worth £ 5.00 but was not the best. The bedding was not changed any day, shower and left to be desired ...

I stayed with 2 of my girlfriends for a night to go clubbing and shopping. The hotel was good for the money we paid but it's the location and staff that make it special. Hotel was easy to find, no more than 10 min walk to shops, clubs and beach. Cafe, Indian restaurant and corner shop on same road. The staff were very helpful finding me somewhere to park and giving us the choice of 3 rooms to chose ourselves. They also told us the best places to go clubbing on that particular night and let us have a curry take away from over the road (giving us cutlery etc.) the spa in the hotel around the corner is £2.50 each but is very small. The beds werent particularly comfortable but ok. Overall I'd say the hotel was excellent and I would definitely recommend it.

The staff was nice helpfull and polite, and I also like the location were the hotel is, close to town centre. Breakfast was ok

I was upset when I find out that the swiming pool and the rest of activities is not in the hotel itself. Also was shocked by the size of the room. The lobby and restaurant looks ok, but the hallways and rooms look very cheap. I paid 45 pounds for a twin and don't think it worth any more.

I would say this is a perfect hotel for groups and singles. The staff were extremely accomodating, great value for money and very central.

Location and price were excellent. Room clean and comfy. Staff were very friendly and accommodating Changed room for us when they realised we had a 1yr old sonwe could accolades travel cot. Overall perfect for what we wanted for a short stay Would stay again
