Some rooms were cold
Very cheap - £49 for 2 nights clean Staff efficient warm-ish Shop nearby to buy tea/coffee and single portion milks
No tea or coffee in room only kettle stains in ceiling Needs refurbishment Noisy in morning
Not my first time, keep returning as you know what you get, value for money
Double room with breakfast for a shade over £30 is great value for money. Decent location. Clean and comfortable.
Room and bathroom lights not bright enough and no bedside light. But can't be too picky as it was only 34quid for a one night stay!
the location was brilliant right next to the beach and the town center. the staff were very friendly and help full when needed. had the optional breakfast which was nice just about enough food. for what we paid for the weekend can not fault the b and b
the only thing we did not like was the shower. it dribbled out water so took extra time to get ready, but seemed like it was a thing in the whole b and b as another friend said the same thing
We got to Bournemouth by bus and it was pretty dark and cold and we really just wanted to get inside as quickly as possible. We found that the hotel was a 10 minute walk from the centre of Bournemouth (And even less from the beach as we discovered the next day). When we got in there were two people at the reception who were ready to give us our keys but they were also really friendly in interacting with not just us but other people who were staying there as well and who were on their way to leave for a night out. When we got into our room we found that the room was really clean and tidy, there was plenty of space around the room and there was a variety of storage options. The bed was comfy and there was a good selection of channels to watch on tv. It was a lovely stay and we will definitely plan another trip soon!!
The only flaw was that the shower itself was quite small even though the bathroom was quite big. The shower wasn't extremely powerful either but it did the job.
The young man on the desk Chris, very friendly
The attitude of the owner, very poor. A couple of the beds, where awful one having a door under the mattress!!! No tea and coffee in room. no apology for the state of the accommodation. Photos on Booking.com are NOT what we had, false advertising.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. They found an extra lamp for us when we found the room too dark, and let us wait in the lounge after check-out for our taxi, even though they needed to lock up between shifts.
The lounge and breakfast area were quite recently decorated, but out room really needed a bit of TLC! There was an odd selection of furniture and the room was very dark and noisy as it was on the staircase.
Great for what we wanted :-) friendly staff great location for town centre overall it was great for us
Other than taking a while to locate it nothing
Booked here as it was close to BIC as my husband has walking difficulties, but it was down a steep hill so that wasn't good.Cant think of anything good about this hotel.Even the breakfast was bad, cheap sausages, disgusting coffee, dirty glasses.
First room they showed us had black mould on the walls and in the wardrobe. Kettle and cups in room but no tea, coffee etc. Overall a shabby hotel and wouldn't recommend at all.
I liked the convenience of the hotel to our needs
I didn't like the fact my car got scrapped when parked over night and I did not like the noise of the immature people in room opposite us at 2am
Very contemporary look down stairs
Breakfast was poor-beans an egg and a tinned tomato for vegetarians. No tea or coffee in rooms but there was a kettle and cups. room was very poor and felt like a cupboard with too many beds in.
Small bathroom and bad lighting In bedroom
Rudest staff I have ever come across, especially the manager. Poor quality of the room.
Staff responded quickly to any unsatisfactory conditions (apart from Internet connection)and put them right. Great breakfast provided. Excellent heaters available for rooms.
Wifi was advertised as accessible in all areas yet I could only access it downstairs in communal area. Perhaps they could install wifi signal boosters upstairs.
Perfect location just 5min walk from the beach good parking lovely modern dinning area very friendly staff
Room in need of modernisation beds weren't very comfortable our room was quite noisy could hear other guests in the hallway
no frills hotel value for money.
The staff were very friendly and helpful
The wall paper is peeling off the wall in big strips the bedside lamp was not working and I could not connect to the Wifi. The room was not clean and the beds were unstable and uncomfortable and lumpy. The breakfast although an english breakfast and has all the requirements was of low quality products.
It was in a very good location and was appropriate for what we needed - a quick stop over.
The beds were very uncomfortable and the room was freezing at night. The toilet didn't flush properly and the shower was cold. Wouldn't use the hotel again unless it was just for a quick stop over which worked out at good value for money
Value for money
No soap or shampoo and had to pay for coffee in the room?
Check in was friendly and efficient and knowledge of local facilities excellent
Beds need up-grading in our room
food was excellent and the staff very friendly
the room was poor
