Quick check in / check out, polite staff, clean room. Extremely noisy in rooms at the front of hotel, virtually no sound proofing from street noise. I have stayed at the rear of the hotel previously and it is much better. |

We loved the location. We went shopping and to the theater it was walking distance to everything we wanted to do and just 10 min walk to Covent Garden. Hotel reception was dated compared to the rooms. |

The location was great for getting to all of the areas we wanted to see. There was a lot of choice for the self service breakfast. The room was comfortable an clean. Friendly staff. From Waterloo there are direct buses which make lugging cases to and from the hotel much easier than carrying them on the tube. I booked a twin executive room which had more facitilties that the basic twin room but I was given a basic room which although was bright, clean and airey was not what I had paid for. When I contacted reception form the room I was told that I had been given the correct room. I challenged this ans was told they would get back to me in 15 minutes. An hour later I went to reception and complained again, I was then given the bigger quiet room I had requested and paid for. Had I not been confident enough to complain twice then I would have paid a lot more for a basic room than I should have done. Reception staff were courteous and friendly . |

Location good for Holborn tube, the Central line, central London and theatre district. This was a confortable, clean, quiet hotel and would definately use it again We appreciate that the weather was very good for late October, but the rooms were very warm and we couldnt dispell the heat without the use of the air con, which was noisey to sleep with on. All the windows had safety locks which prevented openning enough |

I like the fact it was very clean and comfortable. My room 318 was too close to the service lift, no chance for a lay inn and the cleaners were quite noisy gong past even though i had the do not disturb sign up on the door. |

The Park Inn Russell Square is an a execellent location for access to shopping and theatre, easy to get a taxi to and from and within comfortable walking distance. The standard twin bed room beds do not account for persons above average high if your 6ft+ bed are to small. The foyer and bar are well worn and need to renewal. |

Kind people. Didn't charge the extra bed for our son. Well decorated. The bathroom was too little but was and clean. It didn't have enough hangers for the towels. |

Excellent location for city centre, only a 5 minute walk from Holbourn tube station. Close to restaurants and pubs if you fancy a change from the hotel. |

The refurbished rooms were tastefully decorated with just enough space to make them comfortable! Reception staff were courteous and happy to change our twin room to a double. Ideally located for Covent Garden, Islington and Oxford Street with some good local pubs in the area. The lifts are rather noisy and as our room was next door to one, combined with the sound of roller suitcases and the chambermaids trolley not ideal for light sleepers! The bathroom was clean, contemporary but rather too compact to make for a relaxing bath experience! |

This is a great location for Central London within easy walking distance for most areas, however it is quiet in the evenings so you get a good nights sleep. When we stayed last year the room was quite small, however the room this year was very spacious and well laid out. Breakfast is excellent. Bar area is not very welcoming. Would not be encouraged to stop for a drink in the evening before going our or for a night cap on return |
