The rooms/apartment allocated to my party were excellent. The staff, particularly Alex on reception went out of his way to accomodate our group of 11 people - he is a credit to the organisation.

Location Booking cocked up used guest name instead of bookers name Was put in standard room - paid for executive room When mistake was realised all belongings were moved to correct room without informing us. Hence when tried to get into original room key wouldn't work so had to trapse up and down to reception before being told absolute joke

The reception was very grand and inviting. The cookie on check in was delicious. The beds were very comfortable and te bathroom was a good size. Excellent central location with lots of amenities around and about. Very strict with check in time - other hotels I've stayed in are more flexible. The lifts were a bit small.

We stayed here for one night. The room was extremely clean and the hotel is modern throughout. All our needs were met and there were a few nice treats left in the room as it was my mum’s birthday (Cake, wine and chocolates). The room was well equipped with an iron, tea and coffee making facilities, dressing gowns and slippers. We were even upgraded to an executive suite. Staff were friendly and very efficient. Breakfast was so fulfilling, we could not ask for more. The hotel is located in an excellent location for London theatres and restaurants with good access buses and tube. There is always a black taxi going by if you want a quick ride to the many tourist hotspots of London. Thank you to all the staff for a great night!

Booked this as part of surprise visit to london for my husbands' 60th birthday. We were made to feel so special by all staff. When we checked in the receptionist even greeted my husband with "happy birthday" and later a piece of cheesecake was left for him in our room! The room was fine, the bed sooo comfy, tea/coffee making facilities (and biscuits) etc. We had the breakfast which we both really enjoyed (my husband had cooked). The hotel itself is only about a 5-10 stroll from Drury lane so is in an ideal location for overnight theatre trip.

The location was good for access to the West End. In terms of walking time it takes around 20 minutes to get to Leicester square. The parking next to the hotel was also handy. I have a few issues here: 1 - The level of English by the staff (in particular the bar staff) was poor. 2 - The bar staff repeatedly forgot to bring our orders. Also forgetting cutlery after bringing our meals. 3 - The Concierge never seemed to be around whenever we went to ask for advice. At one point I asked him to get a cab for us and once on the street he started chatting to other people for 5 minutes and left us standing there. The next time he went outside and walked up the street to get something from a shop. Again, not explaining to us what he was doing. 4 - We booked two rooms. One room had a broken shower. The other had broken heating in the bathroom and so the floor was like ice. The hotel had left a heater in our room but we weren't able to use it in the bathroom (electrical heater). They never told us either that there was a problem with the room. 5 - The desks provided in the rooms were old. Like something you would have at secondary school. 6 - Expensive for what you get, even with a 40% discount (300 pounds for two nights - no breakfast)

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was much larger than anticipated and certainly better than most similar budget London hotels. Location was an excellent base to explore the shopping and nightlife of London with Covent Garden only a 5-10 minute walk away. The bed was a little small.

Since I am a Hilton honors gold member, I'm sure that both the service and value were ramped up - we received free breakfast and happy hour in the executive lounge every day. However aside from that, the location was great - a five minute walk from the holborn tube station, and 10 minutes from Covent Garden. There is a little market right next door and two great English pubs around the corner. We found a fantastic, tiny Thai restaurant hidden down an alley a block away, that a member of the staff offered to walk us to. The service was spot on. When we had some issues with the Internet, it was fixed immediately. When my husband's robe was taken with the laundry by housekeeping and not replaced, the evening staff brought one immediately. They answer the phones promptly and everyone at the desk is friendly. I can't speak highly enough about the staff. The rooms are small, but all rooms in London are small. Our double deluxe room had a view, a refrigerator, coffee service and robes. The bed was large and very comfortable. There was no plug in the bathroom for the hair dryer or a shaver, and only a very tiny shelf for toiletries, so the bathroom, although pretty large, had no place to easily spread out our stuff. We made do, but a small table in the bathroom would have been helpful.

I was expected. Very little fuss getting to the room after long train journey. Comfortable, warm appeal of open fire in comfortable and clean lounge. Staff demarcation. If I wanted some thing from the bar or restaurant I asked the first member of staff I could see. It was not their job and request eventually past to right person who then comes and checks what I want.I guess my thought was ask a member of staff and they would seamlessly fix it.
