I liked the fact that we were self contained in a little barn conversion. Also, the breakfast area was self contained, upstairs in another barn conversion and we could please ourselves about what and how much we wanted. |

Warmly welcomed from the moment I arrived. Everything was explained clearly, rooms were lovely (en suite), plenty of parking spaces. I was only expecting a basic breakfast selection in the morning but there was cereal, toast, pain au chocolat, raisins, malt loaf... the list goes on! A whole different class of B&B. If I was being very picky then the bathroom in my room had a slanted ceiling so no room to stand and shower, but there was a bath and shower tap mixer so certainly not a show stopper. |

A very attractive setting. Room was pretty and clean and adequate only for a one night or short stay. Understand the thinking behind self service at breakfast but feels it does require more supervision, many half-opened packets and some stale items. A longer stay would need some wardrobe space, there was none in the room. Guess the hotel is used for one night travel to and from Stansted Airport. Would only recommend with some reservations. |

Very convenient for staying close to Stansted Airport. Very nice and clean room for a fair price. Staff was helpful and the shuttle flexible to take us to Bishop's Stortford rail station instead of airport station, making save us 8£ for Stansted Express In the small double room the shower is under a low roof: if you are tall is impossible use it. I had to take a bath instead! |

Very close to Stansted Airport, nice setting and good that you can have breakfast at any time A bit noisy as ceilings were thin, but that can hardly be helped |

We found Bonningtons to be great value for money. We had a triple room which we found to be very pleasant, and tastefully decorated, with oozes of hot water. Super clean and very comfortable. The owners were really friendly and very helpful, we loved the picturesque setting of Bonningtons, and it was really useful for the pub. |

This was the perfect place to stay for a handy one night stop in order to catch an early morning transfer flight from Stansted airport. Rooms are immaculate and really nicely finished with a really homely country cottage feel and the prices are excellent. Not only this but the owner came and collected us from the airport without charge. Outstanding! If you are arriving late and require an evening meal, make sure you contact The George, Little Allingbury ( the pub directly across the road from the B&B) to pre-reserve a meal. There is no communication between the B&B and this pub and the night we arrived the pub was having a private party, so no meals were being served. |

Nice clean warm room and very comfortable bed, also the information booklet that had the no for the taxi back to the airport. Did not see any staff or guests. I arrived at about 11.30 pm and as arranged a note had been left on the front door telling me where to go. But its a motel not a hotel in the middle of the countryside completely deserted and as a woman travelling alone I felt a bit anxious that there was no-one around. In the morning you made your own breakfast in a room upstairs over a garage (? |
