friendly, ameniable staff, large comfortable room and good sized bathroom - although a shower would have been nice

Room was big. Close to sea front, close to town, staff were friendly. The room was in very good condition & nice furniture. The bathroom was very modern with a very powerful shower. Very large bath towels were left in the room. Tea making facilities and bottled water left in the room which were replenished daily. Honesty bar available if you required it. Overall a great hotel and very good value for money. Would stay there again.

Booking made on the internet & Manager/Owner was not aware of our booking on arrival & the 1st attempt of frying our eggs was disastrous.

The room was clean and well equiped. The hotel is only a very short walk away from the town centre and the beach.

room didnt meet the standards advertised, electrical fittings didnt look safe. draft in windows, paid 100stg for family suite had to take shower in room down stairs, no lift for 3 flights of stairs. breakfeast cereal all out of date by 2-3 months. This is not a hotel as advertised, this is a 2 star B & B and that is being generous

The hotel furnishings were very grand, yet covered in dust. The hotel staff left a lot to be desired and were not really interested if we were there or not.

the suite comprising two rooms and jacuzzi in adjoining bathroon plus additional shower room was exceptional value. The situation was good - spoiled only by the late bar noise opposite. Breakfast ok.

The Pizzeria was closed in the evening - not sure if because it was mid week. No parking close by unless lucky enough to get street space. Decor a little gothic but clean.

The friendliness of the staff, especially the waiting staff at breakfast and the food was delicious with a good breakfast selection

The only problem was our room which was at the very top of the house and after walking up the Orme it was a bit of a struggle at the end of the day when knackered! Nice rooms though...

The hotel is very close to the beach and pier

Yes. We had a major problem in the room with the curtains that fell off the track. We reported this to the staff who did nothing about the problem. I asked for a discount to be applied to our room rate for the inconvenience and received £8 back. The bedside lamp also did not work and when we arrived the shower door was not working properly which I sorted out personally. We were also in a room at the top of the hotel (4th floor) which didnt have a lift and was offered no help with our bags. The pizza retaurant was adequate but the pizzas were not home made and the house wine was dreadful.

Lovely Staff very nice room and food was lovely. Will definately stay again.
