Situated at the foot of the Great Orme, beside Llandudno Pier, The Grand Hotel offers live entertainment. There is also a restaurant, bar and games room.
Score from 902 reviews Review score
Close to the pier, this seafront hotel offers rooms with flat-screen TVs and hearty, full English breakfasts. Llandudno’s beach is just 2 minutes’ walk away, and free parking is available.
Score from 376 reviews Very good
The family-run Winchmore Hotel is in the centre of Llandudno Bay, looking out over the headlands of the Great Orme and the Little Orme.
Score from 501 reviews Fabulous
The Manor Hotel is situated directly on the Victorian Seafront Promenade, only a 2-minute walk from Venue Cymru. It has free Wi-Fi and a superb view across the Bay of Llandudno.
Score from 325 reviews Good
large bedroom and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Service with a smile.. Honesty bar..
Had a lovely stay - was handy with extra room in suite for my grandaughter in cot - bit of a hike with all the stairs, but the view was fab of the promenade, and it was really cosy and warm. Liked the honesty bar - could have a drink as we were back early to put baby to bed, so very handy indeed !!! All in all had a lovely stay.
Lots of stairs - no lift available
food was very good room was clean and well presented en-suite was very clean and modern
Bed mattress was too spongy and parking could be a problem
Cleaner not put round every day but otherwise ok
Friendly and helpful staff Large room
The bin in the bathroom was full on arrival
very comfy four poster bed; great location; good value for money; owner was very flexible with luggage storage: we were allowed to leave our luggage and keep the key while the owner was out; honesty bar was a good treat
made contact before arrival gave good advice on parking . selection of breakfast was a nice change from just full english
found nothing to dislike
Room, Bed, View, Breakfast, Location, Restaurant food excellent
Hotel and staff excellent - restaurant staff could be friendlier but the food was excellent
The view of the bay from our family room at the top of the building was awesome. We were greeted on our arrival and felt very welcome. Breakfast was excellent and everyone was attentive too our needs. scoring out of 10 is above 9.5 and definitely 10 out of 10 for value for money
Attacked by bed bugs. Room 2.
A very welcoming and friendly staff.
Staff hotel room what you see on website is what you get
Position of hotel good for shops and sea front
Windows in bedroom rattling kept waking us up
Location, clean and comfy rooms and bathroom
Breakfast not the best. Obviously room decor is dated for this kind of B&b
Very comfortable and friendly hotel near to the promenade and pier. Our room ( room 1) was furnished in a traditional style with carved bedhead and matching furniture. The bathroom was modern and spotless. Breakfast filled you up for the day.
We liked everything.
The hotel was ideally located, very friendly, lovely breakfast and excellent value for money. Would definitely stay there again.
too many stairs
Two very good family rooms
Everyone was so helpful
Very welcoming owner Nicely furnished room Good food at breakfast
Had to wait for a table to be available for breakfast
lovely big room friendly staff
Staff is rude and non co-operative.they even don't know how to talk with the customers.nobody is ready to carry the luggage to your room the person who is at reception said ," I am not your servant" . The bed was uncomfortable and noisy. The hotel was stinky I don't know how this hotel stands in 4 star.
The three members of staff were lovely & gave us a very warm welcome & a contact number to call should we need anything as the hotel appears unmaned during the day. They had an honesty bar which you could use if wished we didn't but it is a great idea. Also had dvd players in the bedrooms & Dvds in wifi area in lobby you could borrow. I loved the fact that the family suite had a seperate bedroom & a sitting room. I also was pleased to get a fresh bottle of water every day, most places I stay seem to over look the fact that kids dont like tea or coffee. They were very generous with the coffee , milk, tea. Which ment if only a coffee drinker they could all have more than one cup & they were replaced daily. I would definitely recommended the bella vista expecially if your looking for cheap & cheerful.. if the town wasn't so like blackpool I would stay there again. Llandudno is not the hotels fault. If your looking for lots of pubs, shops , things to do on your door step & night life then Llandudno is for you. I'm glad i went as great to have all that on the door step but next time I will be going to Betws-y-coed which is more my style. I would just like to thank Keith & the lovely waitresses who made our stay so enjoyable. Move your hotel to Betws-y-coed ;))) no seriously we had a great time so thanks ;)
No internet conection in my room.. there was in the lobby though. There was no fresh fruit at breakfast time & yes had I asked they would've made sure a had an applenim sure, but I felt there shouldve been apples & bannanas for all daily as Tinned grapefruit is an aquired taste.. also only orange fruit juice no choice. I had requested when I booked the room could I have decaffeinated tea, redbush or peppermint which I didn't get. So I had to walk to supermarket to buy some. The second morning i was offered fruit tea, but sadly I dont like them. The hotel to me was more of a b&b as after breakfast you dont see a member of staff although this didnt bother me & as in previous comment they did leave a mobile number you could call if needed anything. Llandudno itself is like a conservative Blackpool, I prefer quaint villages & pubs but I did enjoy the shops & pubs & would be lieing if I said I didn't but I wouldn't go back to stay in Llandudno, also couldn't get into the restaurant so dont know what it was like to eat in, which takes me back to it being more like a b&b.
Breakfast ok,but dining room bit cramped had to move out for other guests
Bedrooms tatty furniture,no bedside lamp, windows needed cleaning, bit of mildew smell, cant believe it has four star rating ,very disappointed,
