Best Western Falstaff Hotel  

Convenient and good value for money

Hotel is in need of an upgrade- tired and dated

Good Location & easy access

Room was tiny, beds were good, bathroom small annd old. The hotel is in dear need of renovation. This is not the kind of hotel you would expect under the Best Western banner. For nostalgic of the 70s probably nice - but nowhere near currrent standards.

no proper comfortable lounge area only seating in entrance hall outside looks badly maintained and smokers use front steps but their cigarette ends are not catered for and just lie there noise from heating ??

Distance to Leamington Town center - free WiFi

Automatic charging of credit cards for any possible extras - £30 charge which is then reversed if not used.

Marvellous value - and excellent location

The only fault was that the room was not very clean - very dusty curtains and lampshades

Dinner was very poor - to say the least - I could have mended my shoes with the roast potatoes - 'second hand' vegetables -cardboard Yorkshire puddings - altogether the worst meal I have eaten since leaving school! The morning call I ordered for 8.00am never came, only the sounds of the cleaning staff in the corridor woke me at 8.35am and I discovered, when I rang reception to complain, that the taxi that I had asked for at 9.15 had not been booked. Forunately there was time to rectify that, so the disaster of being late at the funeral I was due to attend at 9.45 was avoided - but I had no time to eat the breakfast I had paid for and which I needed after the disastrous dinner the previous evening and to face the long and difficult day ahead of me. However, the staff in the dining areas were very pleasant and did their best to make up for the problems I encountered. The cost of my dinner was deducted from my bill, which went some way to placating me, but I am still very dissatisfied with the overall experience which nearly involved missing the funeral of a friend of very long standing - my only reason for being in Leamington Spa at the Falstaff Hotel

The restaurant and bar staff were friendly and efficient. It is well situated for Warwick and Leamington.

The confusion over my final bill. Despite having the details of the offer written on my booking , an extra £20 was attempted to be added, it was removed with minimum of fuss when pointed out.

The girl on reception was very friendly and efficient. The hotel was good value for money having been booked a few days before my stay.

The room was fairly comfortable however was missing the tv remote control and the shower was cold

Central location for Leamington and just down the road from Warwick Castle. Room was great and inside of the hotel was lovely but a bit tatty at the front of the hotel. Breakfast was good but needed for staff as crockery and food keep runnig out and the youg girl on her own was just run off her feet. We would stay again as ideal for us visiting family. It may have bee na one off as we only stayed the one night.

Just have more staff on at breakfast as 1 person cannot seat guests, clear tables and keep food coming from kitchen. There was a person that looked like a manager but he kept going into kitchen and not coming out.

The room was pleasant and clean. The breakfast provided was good. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

There were Christmas Parties going on at the hotel and on the first night we could hear other guests in the hotel walking around/ talkign loudly in their rooms until gone 3am and on the second night there was loud music which could be heard from our room until gone 1am.
