Staff very friendly and helpful! I'm afraid the food in the restaurant was not very good or the lighting! If I stayed there again I would go out to eat. Did not have the breakfast as no time so cannot comment about that. |

Very convenient for newcastle city centre and easy to find. Breakfast was a bit tasteless ans some people found the long corridors rather noisy at night |

Room clean - had robes supplied which was appreciated (had requested) Breakfast was lovely - good choice & Parking easy. Receptionist very pleasant too Bit noisy outside our room Sat evening. Would definitely want a room at back of hotel istad of front facing becasue of hotel location |

The staff were great , the location was great , only improvement I could think of would be Sky Sports in the room or ESPN in the bar for Monday night football !! |

The Caledonian staff were extremely helpful & attentive, especially at breakfast. The food at breakfast was very good & plentiful. The decor of the hotel was modern and clean. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The hotel was central to the bars on Osborne Rd and less than 10 minutes from the Metro for the City centre shopping. |

I have stayed at the Caledonian twice before...it is a very smart comfortable hotel and reasonably priced...ideally placed for the bars on Osbourne Road in Jesmond and only a short drive from the city centre. The parking at the rear of the hotel is limited so get there early! |

The breakfast was excellent, the room was warm and comfortable, we asked for a quiet room and it was. Car parking convenient at the back of the hotel, we got the last space though! |

The location is great, near the city centre and the overall packaging was good and decoration was good. The parking had recently become a problem but the website shows ample parking, this caused several guests some problems on Saturday evening. The energy effiiency is poor in several areas. |

The hotel was lovely and all staff very helpful. We had dinner on the Friday night and made use of a 25% discount as we ate between 1 and 7pm. Our meal was very good. Both mornings our buffet breakfast was tasty and everything warm which sometimes is a fault with buffet breakfasts. |
