Perfectly placed to explore a lovely and interesting coastal town, with great views over the harbour. It was very friendly and we were made to feel totally at home. Good breakfasts and well stocked bar.

the walls were a bit thin on the top floor - not ideal if next to a noisy insomniac couple (often amusing but sometimes annoying)

Breakfast was lovely and had a good choice. The owner was very friendly.B&B fairly close to centre of ilfracombe.

Room quite small for a family room.Decor could do with updating.B&B was situated up a steep hill which may be a problem for some. Parking available outside if you are fortunate to find a space.

Ilfracombe was the last stop of our trip across Dorset, Devon and Cornwall. So we saw a few B&B's before. We felt very welcome from the first moment. The rooms are fantastic with a stunning view across the harbor and the chapel. The breakfast was the best we had during our trip as there was the possibility to have local smoked fish, Devon Breakfast or a variety of continental opportunities!!! We highly recommend a visit in this family run B&B.

We liked the breakfast... well cooked and presented full devon (which is Full English without the black pudding) and the best smoked haddock with perfectly poached egg my wife has tasted.

Its a very vertical and narrow house and the stairs go on for ever. The "woody view" rooms face the road and we had a fair bit of noise through the night or early morning.

Stunning location Friendly knowledgable hosts Great breakfast Very clean

Noisy shower, meaning you can't have a shower late as it would disturb other guests. Parking is a bit of an issue.

the nosts were first class - it was like having the tourist information board at your beck and call - any thing we wanted to know, whether it was good eating places or just local knowledge it was there !!!

Location was great. Service was very efficient and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. It was great to be able to use the lounge room downstairs to relax in. If the weather had been warmer, I am sure we would have made use of the terrace outside.

We were in a family room accommodating 2 adults and two teenage girls. This made the room somewhat crowded, but this was not unexpected. The double bed was not very comfortable in this room. Other wise, all good.

Sharon rang me before we set out to answer a question I had emailed about restaurant bookings. An excellent first impression and the whole weekend lived up to it. Clean, friendly home from home with lots of advice to help us make the most of our time.

Excellent breakfast. Sharon was very friendly and welcoming. Good views of the harbour.

Steep stairs and one room had a private toilet which was down a corridor not next to the room as described.
