Lundy Island Ferry (0.3 miles/ 0.5km) - Regular sailings from Ilfracombe harbour to this unique unspoilt nature reserve.
Tunnels Beaches (0.6 miles/ 1km) - Ilfracombe's must-see attraction, a network of hand-carved tunnels leading to unique sheltered beaches and tidal Victorian bathing pools - Awarded Blue Flag status for past 3 years, alongside Woolacombe, Croyde Bay and Saunton Sands.
Wildlife & Dinosaur Park, Combe Martin (5 miles/ 8 km) - Within this natural setting on the edge of stunning Exmoor, dense woodlands and stunning botanical gardens are host to a incredible range of wildlife which come from all corners of the globe.

We stayed in room 9, right at the top of the hotel (a lot of stairs to climb - you have been warned!). The room was very clean and well presented, and the view was amazing. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The walk to the harbour was about 10 minutes maximum from the back of the hotel. Would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel. |

Quality of the breakfast was excellent. The owners could not be more helpul. The hotel is very clean and furnishings are in good condition. No parking at the hotel means you have to either park in the main street outside or in a nearby public car park. |

A very warm and welcoming Guest House with superb sea views.The full Devon breakfast cooked to order was excellent.The hosts were extremely amicable and nothing was too much trouble for them.Overall we had a very nice break at 'The Collingdale'. |

From the bedroom window I could see the sea, smell the sea and the local area was good for walking. There were no midday or evening meals at the hotel but eating out in Ilfracombe was very easy with good food. |

Everything - Lovely room with stunning views - Friendly and helpful staff - Good choice on menu, excellently cooked, The hotel was of a very high standard throughout. The location of the hotel was also easy to find, and was on the main route in and out of Ilfracombe. Parking was also not a problem. Our room was at the very top of the house, which is a 4 or 5 storey house, and there was a lot of stairs to climb. However, we knew this on booking and did not present us with a problem. But is may not be appropriate for the less mobile. |

Very welcoming and friendly. Room very clean and bd extremely comfortable. Could have been warned that it was 70 steps up to the room. We could do it with a breather but older or less fit folks might have had difficulty. The shower and toilet were extremely small. |

What a beautiful guest house and location. Sharon and Daryl were so nice and genuinely seem to enjoy meeting and chatting with guests. The breakfasts were very good, and we enjoyed the bar which is part of the guest house. It's nice to have a drink and visit without having to go out. The room we had(king bed /sea view) was very nice and incredibly clean. We would love to go back some day. |
