    Food and staff really good

Noise from disco and those guests fighting. Room was located next to a lift and early morning staff trundling trolleys in and out of lift and down a ramp outside of room. Hence both nights we stayed sleep was disturbed

Me my wife & my 2 year old daughter stayed at Queensferry Hotel for two nights & we had a really happy time there. The Hotel is being refurbished at the moment but it is still a very nice place to stay. The staff are out of this world & could not have done anymore for us if they tried (& to us that is what makes your stay). The food was very nice & good value for money & the views from the restaurant are great. Would we go back again ? Yes . I work away most of the time so I get to stay at a lot of hotels & I have to say that this is a nice one (maybe not perfect but when they've finished the refurb it will be up there ! ) so well worth a look at.

The views across the Firth were lovely and the staff in both the reception and restaurant were very attentive and friendly. The food was also great at dinner. Unfortunately we had an early start and were not able to stay for breakfast.

A little wear and tear in the room - a hole in one of the curtains and a small stain on the carpet but otherwise it was quiet, comfortable and clean.

The location is fantastic with beautiful views over the Forth and the bridges. The staff are warm and friendly especially on reception. The breakfast is as high a quality as I have had anywhere and overall the food was very good.

The hotel seems a bit dated and would be fantastic with some investment in being brought up to date, especially the entrance as it is first impressions that count. The gardens could be better maintained and could be an excellent feature.

Reception staff ..... Polite and helpful

Dining room..... Chef needs to be informed that reheated burnt hand cut chips are not acceptable. The senior waitress needs to change her attitude ..... Ignored for 10 mins then told to take a seat.Tables at breakfast not cleared, waited for a table for 20 mins then very little food available ..... No food replenished asked for bacon, no bacon available , after complaining 15 mins bacon appeared , no toast would we have buns.... Etc! No apologies given she eventually offered to deduct breakfast charge from bill. Room rate was £113 us £6.50 for breakfast. Came down for breakfast at 9.00am , seated at 9.25 left at 10.00 still hungry with a sea of dirty tables surrounding us.

The location, the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was a good size with good facilities.

We didn't have a view at all although our friend in another part of the hotel had a spectacular view of the bridges. The carpet was a bit worn and stained.

I recently stayed at this hotel with a friend as we had tickets for the commonwealth games. The hotel is well placed for accessing motorways and Inverkeithing train station is just a short drive away. The hotel is basic but clean and had everything that we needed. The staff could not have made us feel more welcome. Every single one of them were friendly and helpful and always made time to have a chat and ask about our day.

At times there was a lot of noise from residents in other rooms. We could hear doors slamming and sometimes people running up and down the corridors in the early hours of the morning. The evening menu was the same every night and on some occasions not all options were available As one of our party is vegetarian, this restricted the choice.

We booked an exec double room and there was bags of space even with a large double and separate single bed for our daughter. The room was clean and comfortable. The only minor issue (for me) was the bottom was not made properly and was left loose -no one these days seems to perpare 'hospital corners' to ensure the sheet is secure and doesnt move around during the night. A pet peev of mine but I'll get over it :) There was a wedding on the floor above us and we did not hear a sound.

The Internet was not very strong which made it somewhat unreliable but was free.

The reception manager lady was terrific, giving all kinds of advice on where to go and how to get there. Very friendly.

There was a lot of construction on bridges getting there from the airport area -- almost gave up finding it -- but easy to find once we knew -- and an otherwise very good location.

Clean and tidy room. Very quiet. Lovely for a weekend for a couple. Food was lovely. Had dinner and breakfast and both were lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Wifi connection was very poor in the room. Couldn't get connected as the signal was too poor. Bread was like rock at dinner and butter was solid, could be done with being left to for a bit to soften. Room was very warm, so had to open the window as wide as it would go.
