We had an overnight stay in a spacious ground level Garden Room which was ideal for our requirements and our large dog (no steps to negotiate). The accommodation was very clean and generally cosy for a winter night, with an adjustable radiator in the bedroom area. The breakfast choices were excellent and good quality, with the full English being very hot and freshly cooked. The staff were very professional and pleasant addressing any issues we had satisfactorily and they were happy to receive our feedback, even the minor negative bits. We will use this hotel again and recommend it. The tv was wall mounted in the bedroom so had to be watched while laying on the bed rather than from the sofa in the lounge area, where there appeared to be an aerial socket. Tea/coffee items had not been refreshed from previous occupant. Heating went off during the night which was not ideal as it was still a bit chilly early morning.

We were part of Cullercoats tennis party and we feel that we were looked after very well by all the staff. The meal in the evening and breakfast were excellent and the party atmosphere was as good as any Christmas party previously attended. The first meeting at reception was not as friendly as it could have been which unduly concerned us.

Beautiful surroundings, a lovely comfortable room and peace and quiet. We only stayed one night, but knew we'd made the right choice as soon as we arrived.

The food (both dinner and breakfast) and the service were very good. The only minor criticism was that the bathroom in our room was very cramped and made more so by the door only opening partially making access difficult for older visitors.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable. We have booked another night there in a weeks time and will most likely stay there in the future when we visit Northumberland. Really convienient, airport and metro into Newcastle just a short drive away.

Lovely building, staff were very friendly. Room was very spacious, breakfast was very good aslo, resturant food was very good, bit pricey but good. Would have been nice to have the option to put some heating on as it was a little chilly during my stay.

Friendly staff. Relaxed environment. Typical traditional English country house with garden. Good breakfast. Excellent overall value. Close to the airport. Slow internet. Only a few TV channels, but it's OK if you want to relax end enjoy the environment.
