Staff and food was Excellant 10/10
Not enough room between bottom of bed and wall .my partner had just had a hip operation and found it difficult to manoeuvre between the small space in room 310
Location, friendly staff, lovely breakfast served to you rather than a buffet style.
Have stayed several times. Like the location. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Has comfortable beds (not too hard!)
Great seaside location, very decent rooms.
waitresses and other staff very pleasant and helpful.
entertainment could be improved. no extract fan in bathroom meaning having to have a window open. quality of food poor.
good view, very professional staff, welcoming, friendly, made Eastbourne special, would certainly consider going back
poor sausage at breakfast
Reception gave great service. Restaurant staff very attentive. Lovely food.
There was nothing we didn't like, we would visit again definitely.
Very helpful staff. Lovely old building.
Quite a small breakfast. Creaky floors in corridors.
Everything was very good.
The hotel had a large dinner conference that evening (UKIP) and could not supply any bar meals, so we went to a local pub and had a great meal.
Couldn't recommend higher. Wonderful customer service and a lovely room.
Excellent staff and service. Restaurant meal was first class and extremely good value.
Old sash windows in room; guests expect double glazing when exposed to the sea.
We went to see The Bachelors (Con & Dec)who were preforming at this hotel. The food served in the restaurant was first class. The room was very comfortable with a very large bed, fantastic sea views.Staff were excellent and friendly.Would highly recommend this hotel.
Very good value good food and bar. I parked off road and this was free. Great view and room was very well fitted out
Was over charged for the meal but this was sorted out before paying
Being by sea , made very welcome , nice atmosphere ,bar food was lovely, very nice staff , very relaxing n enjoyed our stay , cleaners was very good .
Bed was very uncomfy and didnt sleep well because of this making sciatica pain a prob . Cold water flow was low making shower weak . Didnt get to eat in resturant as fully booked the three days we stayed .
Staff were attentive and friendly
staff were so courteous, food was good, sea view room was very comfortable, and we will visit again.
could move the light over the bed more to right or left, as kept banging my head on it.
Newly decorated lovely room, comfortable bed, two bottles of water supplied each day plus tea making facilities with biscuits. Excellent breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the sea. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely new shower room with toiletries supplied.
Bedroom and shower room rather small.
Very good service from friendly staff nothing was too much trouble. I liked the fact that our car was safely locked up over night in the Hotels compoud
Difficult to get shower temperature right especially if the guests in the next room used theirs.
A very pleasant weekend stay in a comfortable hotel where ALL the staff welcomed you with a polite, friendly, helpful, cheery attitude. Eating our delicious meals in the "Conservatory" with the sea view was great. Our bedroom with a sea view is recommended. We would certainly stay here again.
We would have preferred a duvet rather than a sheet and blanket on the bed. The en suite bathroom was very small - it also needed a shelf or a surface on which to put one's toilet bag.
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff..Food excellent!
Could not make the bathroom mirror light come on!
Staff were great bed was comfy
Not being pre warned about a lodge meeting and the restaurant being closed, our room was small and in the stairwell so heard everyone going up or down
Good service at breakfast. Traditional waitress service, not serve yourself.
The view and the bay window. General ambience was relaxing and staff were lovely. Breakfast in conservatory overlooking sea was wonderful. Parking easy and room very clean
The curtains, although thick were hung in a strange way so they stood away from the window and let in way too much daylight early in morning. Some rooms had blinds though so maybe the hotel know this
