staff were so courteous, food was good, sea view room was very comfortable, and we will visit again.
could move the light over the bed more to right or left, as kept banging my head on it.
Newly decorated lovely room, comfortable bed, two bottles of water supplied each day plus tea making facilities with biscuits. Excellent breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the sea. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely new shower room with toiletries supplied.
Bedroom and shower room rather small.
Very good service from friendly staff nothing was too much trouble. I liked the fact that our car was safely locked up over night in the Hotels compoud
Difficult to get shower temperature right especially if the guests in the next room used theirs.
A very pleasant weekend stay in a comfortable hotel where ALL the staff welcomed you with a polite, friendly, helpful, cheery attitude. Eating our delicious meals in the "Conservatory" with the sea view was great. Our bedroom with a sea view is recommended. We would certainly stay here again.
We would have preferred a duvet rather than a sheet and blanket on the bed. The en suite bathroom was very small - it also needed a shelf or a surface on which to put one's toilet bag.
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff..Food excellent!
Could not make the bathroom mirror light come on!
Staff were great bed was comfy
Not being pre warned about a lodge meeting and the restaurant being closed, our room was small and in the stairwell so heard everyone going up or down
Good service at breakfast. Traditional waitress service, not serve yourself.
The view and the bay window. General ambience was relaxing and staff were lovely. Breakfast in conservatory overlooking sea was wonderful. Parking easy and room very clean
The curtains, although thick were hung in a strange way so they stood away from the window and let in way too much daylight early in morning. Some rooms had blinds though so maybe the hotel know this
The breakfast was very good and the staff were very attentive, checking that we had what we wanted. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious and clean.
There was a function on the Saturday night when we were at the hotel and it made the bar area noisy. However, we couldn't here it in our room.
Just stayed for one night. Great location not far from the pier. Full English was included and was very nice. Room was a good size and very clean with a nice ensuite. Would stay there again.
Just about everything was perfect for us. we were with another couple who thought the same . The cleanliness was first class We are looking forward to another stay at this hotel. During our five night stay, we enjoyed breakfast every morning, and three evening meals as the food was so good.
There was nothing at all to dislike.
Good location, faultlessly clean and a comfortable bed. The food was excellent - a good menu. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and the waiting staff were helpful, friendly and efficient.
The welcome was very poor. The young man was efficient enough but without any smile or helpfulness. As a solo woman in seventies travelling alone for the first time, I struggled to get my luggage to my room. There was no suggestion that I had to book if I wanted an evening meal and the first night I was turned away until 45 minutes later and felt vulnerable and embarrassed. The girl on reception was friendly and helpful.
V helpful and friendly staff, room decor furniture and view excellent
WiFi a bit fiddley and would have liked a slightly wider bed
Room 212 was very good
Room 230 a bit disappointing
Room was terrible no bath manager was rude Toilet did not stop filling all night I booked an exclusive room Did not get what I payed for
Its an elegantly updated seaside hotel. Good quality restaurant (though we didn't have dinner this time). Stayed there before - generally we like it and will stay there again. Staff are great.
My single room (Number 130) was ridiculously small for a 4 star hotel - they should knock it through and make the adjacent room larger. I put up with it for a one night stay. Bathroom was also far too small. WIFI poor - difficult to connect.
Got a free upgrade on day 2 to a room with a sea view, which was not expected.
Bar decor Breakfast in the conservatory Receptionist
Shabbiness of rooms
I thought the Langham was very good indeed.
I thought the food was slightly over priced.
No parking no duvet. blankets off putting
Enjoyed the overall experience in terms of location and the staff were very hospitable.
The four-poster bed, supposedly the ultimate in luxury, was about the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept in. For a premium room, this was a let down.
Good room and well appointed
Only had one breakfast which was disappointing pargicully the scrambled egg
Friendly and efficient service from the minute we walked in to the checkout when leaving, couldn't find fault. Price of food and drink very reasonable. View from room amazing
Location very good, breakfast nice and tasty. Views from our sea view room wonderful.
Bed not too comfortable
