Situation. Quiet. Good restaurant. Friendly staff. One of us would have preferred an adjustable shower head. We had to search for the safety mat! An excellent bedside light, but only provided on one side of the bed! We would have preferred a duvet. For some reason radio 3 was not available on the television. Reading in bed was not comfortable as there were not sufficient pillows and the alternative,of armchairs, was not available.

Breakfast was excellent Lack of Freeview on tv - only had bbc, itv & Channnel 4. Noise from the lift was noticeable - although I didn't realise it was the lift until the next morning. My room was about 4 rooms along from it.

We got a very friendly reception upon arrival - breakfast was super, overlooking the sea from the dining room. Decent value for money - rooms okay (the single room was pretty small)

The attentiveness of the staff, the attention to detail, and the excellent food, plus the great views from sea-facing rooms. We will be back. It seems curmudgeonly in the extreme but the parking facilities are a drawback.

The staff were very polite and friendly. It was lovely having breakfast brought to the table rather than the buffet style bun fight that is the norm in most hotels now. Not the hotel's fault, but the bin collection and emptying at the back of the hotel at 6.30 A.M.very noisy!

Great location .Staff very friendly and helpfull We arrived friday afternoon very very tired and decided on an early night, only to find we had a very loud disco right below us ,and it went on till 12.00 .The same the following night ,but we did go to bed a bit later .Also the parking was horrendous saturday night .came back to the hotel about 7.0 with absolutely no where to park ended up 2 miles up the road to find some where to eat . Would recomend to our friends but warn them about disco and parking

This was the fifth time of staying at the Langham. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and the Manager has done a great job over the years to improve on everything since the first time we stayed there. We would definitely stay again Room 103 has the smallest en-suite imaginable.

No room in restaurant for dinner on a Saturday night Housekeeping knocked the door to clean the room at 09:00hrs on the morning of check out - obviously no communication between house keeping and reception Use of cheap foreign staff in restaurant

Lovely feel to the place, old style furnishing and fittings, friendly staff, breakfast is an experience in itself as the breakfast room is beautiful with stunning views. I try to go back there everything I'm in Eastbourne and am always disappointed if its booked up.

Staff were lovely and friendly. The breakfast was very poor. Foar a supposedly £10.50 breakfast I'd expect more than one sausage! It was a very poor breakfast overall...felt like factory produced and very skimpy...shameful really.
