Central position, helpfulness of staff, prompt attention to any request. The price of drinks was exorbitant. It was sometimes difficult to understand the staff, as their English was limited. |

The hotel is attractive, the room comfortable with adequate storage space, and the staff helpful. Wifi requires an extra charge a BT ID and password. The signal in our room was not strong enough for streaming video. |

Good mid-range hotel with pleasant decor. The staff offered good old-fashioned friendly and efficient service which is increasingly rare these days. |

The price, the staff, but most of all the location.Great room on top floor There was a christmas party on, nearly got knocked over by one very drunk girl who fell on the floor before bashing into me in reception and once she had been sick in the toilets they were unusable, you could smell it all night up the stairs by reception and the bar. Our shower in room 307 was really weedy and only just hot enough to use, where as the taps were boiling. We got a taxi out in the evening but were unaware of the car park token system ( as it wasn't there when we stayed before) and hadn't been given a token although reception had booked the taxi, so had to run back in across snow with a queue of people behind us. |

Its central location Rooms surprisingly noisy - plumbing noises woke me at 5am, and the traffic noise was very obvious. Reception staff less than helpful, verging on rude. |

It was convenient to the city centre. The room was very, very small and very, very overpriced. I asked the receptionist for information about location of the theatre, she didn't know the answer and did not offer to find out. |

Our bed was wonderfully comfortable. If I had to make any adverse comments it would be that the rooms were looking abit tired and could have done with a bit of a refurbishment. |

Rooms are very small Lady at the front desk was overworked, and you had to que just to ask a simple question. Plus she was eastern european and her accent was strong, and I could just about understand her. |

Small and calm room with nice set-up. 1. It would be better if there is a screen curtain 2. Internet is not freely accessable in rooms. |

Staff were friendly and helpful and there was prompt repair of a wall lamp which collapsed in our room as we arrived! The food was good too -we sent our compliments to your chef. The unidirectional flow of traffic in the car-park should be clearly shown by means of arrows. |

I liked Edwardian style theme but this does not require original decor to be kept ! Originally given room 111 with broken sash in window so it could not be opened. After much argument with recption staff they very reluctantly moved us to 108 which was pokey to say the least ! Decor was very tired generally & particularly in our room. |

Warm welcome, able to check in on arrival at 12pm, and although we had to pay for parking we were able to leave the cars the following day while exploring Cambridge. I would stay there again. the breakfast was a little disappointing, the poached eggs were over done and I only got 1 sausage! |

Character of the old building, location, car parking. My room faced the main road and was noisy. There was no aircon and windows wouldn't stay open so it got quite hot in the evening. |
