the evening dinner was excellent value for money and breakfast was substantial. The decor is clean and modern. The car park was a little small and the hospitality tray in the bedroom could have been better on arrival we found we only had two teabags.

Friendly greeting on arrival, room was ready early which was a great bonus. As it was a special occaision ( fiance birthday) we were given a free upgrade. The turret room was superb, huge bay window to sit and enjoy a great brew, biscuits and sweets from the welcom tray. Breakfast was so fresh and tasty with various opitions. Short walk into harrogate town centre. Fantastic !!! will stay again.

I liked the friendly helpful staff - nothing was too much trouble. The food was fantastic and the service excellent. The room had everything we needed. We wished we could stay longer and would certainly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Ascot House as we were attending a wedding nearby and this was one of the suggested hotels. Everything about it was excellent although we were only there very briefly. The staff were extremely friendly and accomodated our request to have the room available earlier in view of the wedding start time. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the room had everything you could possibly want. The breakfast was great, plenty of choice and cooked to order. As previous reviews have mentioned the car parking is very tight.

Freindly welcoming professional service. Pleasantly personal and made to feel like an individual. Comparable in price to major chains, but personalised as only an "owner driver" can do. Ate dinner in the hotel in the evening, and food was excellent, as was breakfast. All cooked by owner / chef. Would not hesitateto stay again if in the area.

I can describe what I like about Ascot Hotel in one word: EVERYTHING!!! The staff were excellent, the room clean and comfortable and the location couldn't be better. I would recommend Ascot Hotel to anyone.

Very helpful staff at the time of booking in and all through our 2 day stay. Helpful with booking a reliable taxi for Saturday evening. Initial confusion ever booking was quickly sorted out and we were informed of the outcome by phone straight away. Breakfast was lovely - good service, freshly cooked food to order and plenty of choice.

An extremely well-run small hotel with friendly, efficient staff and furnished to a good quality. It managed to be both bright and moden (bed-rooms) while having period charm (public rooms). My room was noisy. It was unfortunately located both over the kitchen and next to the fire-door on the landing.

The friendliness and efficiency of the all the staff. The excellent food and pleasant dining area. The cleanliness of all areas, especially the bedroom/bathroom. A lovely homely and warm feeling about the whole hotel - great place to stay! Shame the parking is quite difficult when hotel full!

Its convenient location for visiting friends (not to mention the centre of Harrogate). The comfort of the rooms, the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food. We have in fact stayed there before and will look forward to doing so again.
