, information update, room description review. We stayed in the executive room in the brochure it looks fantastic but in realty its not what it shows . Very over priced. Food poor

Cleanliness and food. Celebrated a Christening there and the facilities were good. Shower in our room was great. Room taken by my parents (the room suitable for disabled) was wonderful, it had 2 bathrooms, one being a very large wet room, and a beautifully decorated room with a very large bed.

Attic room was a bit small but the window bed (as opposed to a window seat) was more comfortable than it looked.

Quality of food is below standard

We just stayed for one night to visit our son who has just moved to Leamington Spa. The hotel was ideally located near the centre to walk in to restaurants/bars and shops etc. Parking at the hotel was good, we were not sure as the description said "private public parking". Our room was bright and clean with the bed being very comfortable. The hotel bar and restaurant were buzzing (Friday night) and although we did not eat in the restaurant the menu looked very good with a steak special on that night. This was not noisy in our room. There was a lovely aroma coming from the spa which was oposite our room and would have loved to have stayed longer for the spa special at only £30. The room and very good breakfast represented excellent value for money.

We had to relay the bottom sheet on our bed as this had been very poorly fitted exposing the matress at the head end. The bath was very high to step in and out of and we were unable to turn the shower on without getting soaked. We understood that the room was due to be refurbished but the above did not spoil our stay.

Excellent location, nice building

Breakfast service was shocking. Table was dirty, partly used butter, side plate and some cutlery left from previous diner Really really poor Staff and service; didn't have a clue I've stayed here many times and like the hotel but this time I was disappointed by the quality of service.

Location. Close to town centre.

Car park is quite small, and nearby street parking is difficult. Internal decor is a bit 'tired'. Breakfast was ok, but not much choice, (ie no scrambled eggs at weekend!).

My daughter was playing national bowls finals which was why location was excellent ,the staff made us very welcome and could not do enough for us . The food was excellent ,very good choice and the ambience in both the resturant and the bar was wonderful . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed all the facilities. I would definately book again next year and to be honest could not fault it in any way .

Absolutely Nothing

Excellent evening meals, both food and service. Rooms comfortable and not too hot in spite of very humid weather. Have stayed several times before at this time of year and always enjoyed ourselves.

This visit breakfast was a bit of a problem, which we had not experienced on previous visits. The staff seemed under pressure and although the food was up to normal standard when it arrived, timings were unpredictable, and if we had been on a tight schedule, we could well have gone hungry! Butter, marmalade and milk were issued in inadequate portions, which meant more work for the staff bringing fresh supplies. This was done with unfailing good humour, but could have been avoided with better preparation.

We had a beautiful large room with a modern 4-poster bed and state of the arts en suite. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the dinner we had on Sunday evening was excellent.
