I ask for a extra bed due to me spliting up x.so I had my sister with me, there was not one in the room, the hotel gave us a extra room for free, staff very friendly, everything was great
Good location.Nice friendly staff.Decent food. Bar is usually busy and nice atmosphere. This was our third visit.and would recommend this hotel.
Location plus staff
We enjoyed a good breakfast before we set off to the shops. Hotel Locations and parking great. Leave the car and you could walk easily into the town centre with no worries. It was a great short break.
service of staff was great
room was cold
We found the staff very helpful on arrival the room was very nice the beds comfortable. There was a theme to the dining room . They have a extensive menu at very reasonable prices , a excellent breakfast choice. We will use this Hotel again.
Everything was perfect and the room (6) was really quiet. We were neither disturbed by the Christmas party, nor by other guests. We would definitely stay here again.
This is picky but some of the ingredients at breakfast were not of the highest quality - particularly the marmalade and the black pudding.
Staff in restaurant and bar. Food okay in both.
Room not as advertised. Looks (and felt) about 20 years old. Too dark to read in room. Bedding very poor(pillows and duvet).
price location room size nice staff breakfast
bathroom was a bit tired but clean
Bar and Breakfast
On both check-in and check-out took 5 min to find anyone who worked in reception.
+Good location +friendly helpful staff +good food/ good variety of food
-the room was cold heater was turnt up in room but not on -the bed was hard and was two singles pushed together not a double -2 plug sockets in our room were broken one had blue sparks come from it when trying to find out why it wasn't working
The location was good for us as it was near the Newbold Comyn Arms, we were able to walk home from our event to the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room generally clean.
How difficult it was to contact the hotel, there was no answer to several phone calls, an email and a voicemail. Our greeting in arrival was cold and uninformative. There was a mix up with the room. The breakfast was cold and disappointing, it appears due to lack of staff as we were told they were down a chef but food should still be hot, we waited a long time for it. The room was dated and badly designed with having to out the kettle on the floor to boil it as the lead was too short. Overall impression not good!
location was great, ample car parking onsite. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Breakfast room was very dirty. Splashes of food on the walls, table legs dirty, floors filthy. Member of staff who served us breakfast was extremely rude with no customer service skills at all!! I showed her a dirty teacup and it was snatched from my hands!
the hotel allowed dogs. the staff where very friendly. Very good location.
the height of the tables in the lounge area meant that it was difficult to eat in there comfortably (the area that allowed dogs in)
Nice hotel, good location. Great food
Staff did not speak English very well making it hard to communicate. You would expect this when travelling in a foreign country but in the uk?? Waited at reception for more than 15 minutes as there was no one available to check us in. My wife went off to search for someone twice and was told they were coming but never did. Some of the staff were surly and unfriendly, almost regimental which took away some of the pleasure of staying at the hotel. At least two members of staff serving behind the bar did not know what Scotch whiskey was and I had to explain on two separate occasions. All this seem to be small things but it does take away the pleasure of a nice hotel and would definitely make me think twice about staying there again, which is a shame.
Room Location Service Staff
Good sleep/ good quality mattress. Clean. Good Breakfast. Fresh fruit. Cooked etc. Quick check in/out. Free onsite parking. Walking distance to town.
Room ready for a re-furbishment.
Staff really 'nice' to deal with. An excellent breakfast
The builders on the scaffolding next door with a grandstand view of 'us' in the huge bath!
The staff at this hotel were very cheerful and helpful especially the bar staff and also the lady serving breakfast. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. Great value for money
The room radiator could have worked better.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The interior had a sympathetic mix of old and new. The food was top class and well presented. The dining tables were beautifully set. I would highly recommend a stay here.
The bed was a little too hard
No Wi Fi they said not working but didn't believe them - they were definitely connected. Caused us a porblem
We came on Sunday 2nd November had the best time ever great hotel professional staff loved it can't wait to return
the location was good, good reception room clean.
the breakfast was poor and the staff very slow
Fantastic location, just a short 5 minute walk into the centre of Leamington. Hotel had a band on whilst we there which created a great atmosphere for having a drink in the bar. Very good value, hotel is decorated to a high standard throughout. The rooms are lovely and it has a real boutique feel. I would definitely recommend and stay again myself.
Breakfast was a bit of a shambles. No staff to greet you when you arrive so we were unsure where to go/what to do. Our order took ages to arrive at the table and people that came in after us were getting served before us. I had poached eggs on toast which I did not enjoy as the toast was more like bread. That said, my partner had eggs benedict and really enjoyed it. The hotel is very hot. Our window was open for our entire visit (October) and our room was still extremely hot - even without any heating on.
Breakfast was nice. Staff are very nice
The executive room was not as nice as it looked on the photo. An at a rate of 120.00. We prefer the room we had before for 65.00. Breakfast was nice but toast by the time it got to table was very cold
