could provide bath towels. Didn't mind not have a tv but would have liked a radio
Lovely countryside Peace and quiet Distance to Canterbury (if you are not afraid to drive through the small paths) Price/quality
Bit cold and moisty Small room Very basicly equiped (no shampoo nor hairdrier)
the outside - stunning looking
thin walls - heard everything including toilet noises! Breakfast was dumped on the table
This B&B is sourrounded by a lot of green in every direction, it is an old structure maintained very well. Silence and a very good breakfast complete the positive picture.
There is nothing around this B&B and so you have to drive for miles on very narrow roads to reach anything. Quite difficult to find, GPS required. Very small rooms. Finally this B&B requires a fee (2.5%) for credit card payment.
calm animals countryside
room too small for 2 no contact during breakfast
Clean and tidy
To isolated, small bedroom, no tv or facilities in the room just one chair.
The views. The interesting old house.
Quite difficult to find.
Excellent welcome very freindly could not have done more to make welcome.
The countryside surroundings, beautiful breakfast room.
Small room with inadequate access to the wardrobe, mismatched tiles in bathroom, shower curtain, folding door to ensuite which was impossible to close properly. This was not the basic priced double room and was overpriced for the standard of accommodation provided. Breakfast was adequate but uninspired.
Very small room with double bed pushed up against wall. No room for 2 people to move about at same time. No pleasant view, in fact no view from our tiny window. Our booking confirmation said downstairs room with views - we were put upstairs. Cooked breakfast was small portion (1 rasher bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg, half round of fried bread and 1 tomato out of TIN followed by toast) NO CERALS, and the orange juice was already poured out. Saw cat in the kitchen, dog allowed in dining room. Stingy with tea & coffee in room - had to buy more milk. Price was £78 for the double room - very expensive for what we got. Worst accommodation we have ever stayed at.
We enjoyed the full English breakfast, even if we had no choice about when to eat it or what to have. The breakfast room had a nice view of the countryside.
We were given a very small room with no television or even any type of work table. When we requested it, we were allowed to sit in the breakfast area in the evening, but this this privilege was granted only reluctantly. We were given no choice about when to eat breakfast (8:30am only) or what to eat. The B & B was a long way from Canterbury, in terms of driving time, because it is all single track roads. When we arrived (at the end of the road) there was no sign to indicate that it was a B & B.
