All the staff were friendly and helpful. We were at a wedding reception and the evening buffet was delicious. We had a cooked breakfast which was just as good. We had a lovely staff and would recommend it. The only slight problem was the heating could have been better, at times the room wasn't warm but the duvet's were of good quality and kept you warm.

Everybody made you feel welcome and were very pleasant. Any requirements were looked after. Lee was our main contact who was very professional, likable and ensured our stay was just as we needed. We were attending a wedding, but even as guests, we were made to feel special. I have to say, I have stayed in so many hotels around the country and abroad, and the breakfast is one of the best ever! how the breakfasts were cooked to such perfection and so timely was beyond me, I would have waited an hour for the cooked breakfast. No grease, perfect! poached eggs just right. thank you and the service was fantastic too. I loved everything about the hotel itself. Room was lovely, bed was comfortable, wedding I attended was great, staff were fab and the breakfast superb!

Warm friendly welcome with very good food. Our particular room was quite small and therefore one bed couldn't have a bedside table and in fact was right by the ensuite.

Good welcome and friendliness. Very comfortable bed. Although for understandable reasons, the restaurant was closed the evening we stayed so we had to go out for dinner when we would have preferred not to.

The owners are wonderfully friendly. Nothing too much trouble. The English breakfast is to die for. Very pretty bedroom, with everything provided including tea, coffee and biscuits. Beds very comfortable. A little gem in the heart of the countryside, ideal for exploring the Peak District. Ten out of ten.

The service was excellent. All staff were friendly, polite, helpful and professional, and introduced themselves by name, which was such a nice touch. I almost felt like a friend of the family! The atmosphere was relaxed and homely. The view from my window was fabulous. Supper was ample, delicious and cooked to order. I couldn't get the basin tap to produce water any hotter than tepid.

Staff were very friendly, food was excellent. Rooms are a little small, but very well decorated and comfy. Good bar and lounge downstairs. Located on outskirts of Glossop with nice views. Bar closed even though there were several guests staying who would have probably bought more drinks. Probably best to avoid at weekends if you want a quiet night as it caters to various parties.

Hospitality was first class. From the moment we stepped into the premises we couldn't fault the service we received from Lee. Very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was furnished very well, however the ensuite was a little small. Would certainly return to Windy Harbour Farm Hotel.

The hotel was excellent in every way. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Nothing was left to chance, you were looked after very well and we will certainly be visiting again. The location is slightly off the beaten track, I.E. is quite near to Glossop but not adversely so, views and location are superb and walking is excellent. Food was substantial and extremely good, a locally sourced breakfast, I commented that the bacon was like old times, really good and tasty, the choice was extensive and it filled us up for most of the day. Nothing was too much trouble for them, my father who accompanied me is 90 years old, but he found it very relaxing and accommodating.
