Renowned for our real ales and homemade food, we are located in a quaint village on the southwest coastal path overlooking Plymouth and the Plym Estuary. This is a village pub/bed and breakfast with well-furnished rooms, and shared bathrooms and separate shower rooms. Most rooms have sea views. The inn is a winner of the ‘Plymouth Camra Pub of the Year 2006’ award. It is a 10 minute walk from Mount Batten Diving and Water Sports Centre, and within 2 miles of Staddon Heights golf course. Various beaches can be found within 20 miles. Hotel Rooms: 6

There is nothing not to like here, it is the perfect venue for those that like traditional free house pub hospitality. This historic waterside pub oozes with atmosphere and tradition. Basic but comfortable rooms with good home cooking and excellent ale. As for value it simply can't be beaten. I just wish I could live nearby, I would make this hostelry my loca. No doubt about that. Very highly reccommended.

The Boringdon offers basic accommodation but if you are looking for something on a modest budget you will not be disappointed. The owners and staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and the food is excellent. I will happily return for another stay when in the area. The carpets in the public areas could do with a clean.

It was right up at the sea front. The view from the room was excellent. The main brilliance about Boringdon Arms was the staff. The owners are fantastic people. Atmosphere is very informal and relaxing and so down to earth.. Selfishly, its lovely to stay with only a few people. The floorboards creak and if people go to sleep after yourself, you will be woken up. But, it is part of the character of the building.

Great atmosphere, everything was clean and conveniently close (shared washrooms), staff really friendly and helpful. Only one thing - having to hunt for and switch the landing light on at night.

The host was very hospitable and friendly as were all the staff we met. The room was very clean and comfortable as were the bathrooms and tiolets. The tuesday night curry night was real home cooked curries and very good value for money. All in all a really good find. Thankyou for a lovely nights stay.

Excellant host, nice food and a lovely quiet location just outside of Plymouth Outside the room was an extraction fan for the kitchen which was quite loud while on during the pub opening hours

The B.A. is an old building which gives it a character and charm that is its own. It's situation in a very small village gives it friendly community atmosphere. The owners are 'hands on' and share in all services to the guests, they are attentive and helpful, your concern is theirs. They treated us like family, that was very refreshing. The only draw back is the very limited parking in the village but there are facilities close by if you are prepared for a short uphill walk. Also if you want early nights, don't choose a pub, except on Sundays.

Fabulous pub stay, food was good, room comfortable and as advertised, beer choice good and outside covered smoking area very amenable. Very close to Sttaden heights golf course. Not that easy to find but a part of old Plymouth thats well worth a visit. Parking not easy, but thats the nature of the place.

We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and on leaving booked to stay here again. The food is some of the best you will get anywhere, cooked in house, and at a reasonable price. The room was comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Although we were not in one of the en suite rooms it was only a couple of steps across the landing to a spotlessly clean bathroom. Brilliant.
