Price was great and the service was really excellent.
No fruit for breakfast.
clean and tidy room. polite staff.
Poor facilities, room small, bed cramped against wall, no kettle to make tea in your room, shared shower room and toilet.no breakfast in price, wifi poor, parking impossible if returning late in evening.
The guy was really nice and friendly, warm welcome and big rooms.
I loved staying in this hotel. Everything was perfect. Nice, clean and cosy room for its price, friendly and organised staff, 4 minutes to the beach, delicious breakfast :) Perfect hotel for a quick stay. No noisy-parkers.
Excellent Location. You are a few minutes walk from the seafront and Boscome pier, and in the other direction a few minutes walk to the Town Centre.
I certainly would not class this as a hotel. There were communal coffee & tea facilities in the lounge, but only between specified hours. Nothing available in the room. Free Parking was limited to 3 spaces outside the property although they do offer free alternative parking a few minutes walk away. We had a double room with an en suite bathroom. The room was very small with effectively the double bed being the footprint of the room size. Very little space to store luggage. The bed was clean but not comfortable. Noise from the adjoining rooms was considerable and continued long into the night especially for residents having to use a communal bathroom. I would class this as a hostel really. Staff were friendly and helpful. However for the price paid this hotel offers poor value for money. I would not choose to stay again.
Quiet area. Clean. Friendly , good breakfast and tea/coffee facilities, relaxed atmosphere.
No hooks for towels near washbasin. Very small toilet and shower room.
The hotel is in a good location.
It was overpriced, small room, just 2 showers for floor (one of them is so small, you don't even have enough room where u keep ur stuff) and about the breakfast... You have to get downstairs before 9am, if you want to get something...
The owner was friendly and introduced to my room. The location was perfect as it's minutes from the beach and town. The double bed was comfortable and had a en-suite (although make-shift). Complementary toast and team and coffee in the mornings although I did not take advantage of any of these. Quiet in the evenings (occasional conversations could be heard through the walls).
- Pricey for 3 nights stay (£180) other similar hotels costing less. - Shower was poor, not very powerful so did not have a proper shower. - Same bed linen for 3 nights I stayed and only made up once. - Only had one plug to use and the other 2 had a plug leading to the rooms next to me. - No remote for the TV. - You could hear everything that was going on around your room and feel everyone's movement as your room would shake. Noisy in the mornings waking me up. - Staff tried to access my room when I was asleep, got woken up at 10am when I had agreed with the owner of a late check out of 12pm which the staff kindly respected. - There was not enough parking next to the hotel itself, although there was overflow free parking you could not see your car as it would be over the other side of the road. - Vinyl floors not the most comfortable and cold.
It was nice to sit in garden and have cig,but if it had been raining :(
The room we had was very small, the bed uncomfortable and lumpy, needed a good clean, was quite discussed when we moved the one chair we had,and the lime scale in shower, very noisy during night and the light shines in our door, don't waste your money like we did
Close to where we were spending the evening, free tea & coffee anytime. Guests were quiet considering it was a mix of families & young lads
Very over priced for what it as, and only a continental breakfast. Rooms very not that sound proofed, and next door's door needed some oil on it. Laminate floor meant you heard every step from rooms above
location, in Boscombe, walking distance from a pedestrian area and also 45 minutes walk from Bornemouth center and beach. Nice internal garden. Staff kind and effective
Rooms are pretty basic, bathrooms inside the rooms are very small.
Clean beds. Basic, but suitable to our needs.
Very limited parking. Terrible shower - just a trickle! Literally.
Right Location and hospitality.
Had the same bed sheets for whole staying.
The Lady is a lovely host , always smiling and helpful. think she did very well for what she had to work with. The is well place to the facilities.
The hotel is not value for money , in fact it is only just up from camping. The family room could do better with a double bed and single rather than three singles. The showers are poor and don't work very well, the toilet to the family room has a very squeaky door, which wakes you when someone uses it at nights. the breakfast offering is very basic and limited choice.
Location was great, private parking was a must. The interior is great and has a small garden outside to chill.
My shower stopped for no reason at all, had to change to the other one. And my room was next to a 4 bedroom with people that must had fall asleep with the TV ( I heard them snore ).
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Shared bathroom and toilet facilites. Breakfast very disappointing. Parking inadequate.
Friendliness and Helpfulness of staff Good Location for beaches
No En-Suite Lack of Wash Hand Basin in Toilet Breakfast very basic Standard below what would expect for £140 per night No parking outside hotel Feel this is a B&B not a hotel
Me and couple of my friends stayed at a room with three single beds however my friend got bitten by bed bugs.
Good Room Cleanliness
The staff was lovely and kind
The staff/ good location for a family wedding
No fire safety exit plan available which concerned me and I did highlight to staff/ shower temperature did not work/ rooms needed a good dusting/basin plug was broken
Parking availability, staff were friendly and it's a cheap cab ride into Bournemouth City Centre (£8)
Beds were too small, breakfast was limited with just toast and cereal on offer and you can hear people in other rooms.
Staff is fantastic, I was very pleased with that. Location is great too. Patio.
Breakfast? There is no breakfast. There is sth to drink and jam with bread or cornflakes. Very disappointing. Poor standard, scrappy rooms made the cheapest way possible. I could easy hear what my neighbors did in other room, I even heard when they went to toilet. Horrible. My advice is: pay more and go somewhere else, is really not worth it to pay £55 and feel so cheap. I disliked it very much, sorry.
