Lovely room, sparkling clean and warm welcome from the owner. Excellent location, 10 minute walk to town, and a park only 2 minutes away.
Very welcoming and friendly staff, good room for a Night
The squeakiest floorboard in the world
Very friendly hostess. Good location. We had the smallest of the available accommodations and it was adequate for our needs. The room was clean and we were provided with fresh towels, and the room was tidied up each day.
Location Comfort Cleanliness Walk across road into park and walk into town along the river going along the tramway and over the river using the lick
Road noise Took a while to get the shower working
Nice room close to city centre
Very noisy because of the traffic.
It was located within walking distance of the theatre across a lovely park by the butterfly farm
It was tatty, the front garden driveway was a mess , there was no one there , a key was left for us, we were in the converted garage which was tatty with unfinished entrance porch and incredibly cramped inside , I had to climb over my husband to get in bed, there was a smell of damp in the room. The tea facilities were on a box on the floor with no space to make tea.
the room was very clean so was the shower it is a great place to get your head down to sleep that all you want
-comfy bed -tea and milk available -good location -nice neighbourhood
-didn't feel too welcome at first -quite noisy late evening -50quid per night too much (I have stayed in better BBs for the same price)
The landlady said we could leave our bags with her while we went out for the day but then told us she had made other plans which was a big inconvenience. The room was small and there were only three teabags. (We split the third one!)
Loved having our own entrance so no worries about disturbing anyone after being at a festival. Clean, affordable and well equipped.
Room was clean, TV and DVD was located well and the shower was really nice
Facilities we're clean, the presence of a facility to wash clothes was great, given the needs of travellers to launder clothes
The location was ok a nice walk through the park into Stratford weather permitting. The pub just across the road was convenient saves the walk into town
Poor quality bed linen looked too well used even though it was fairly clean, luckily it was too warm in the room to get into bed I slept on top of a towel. The room is a little tired and could do with a freshen up, quite a bit if noise as the room is right at the side of the entrance to the front of the property also quite a bit of noise from the busy main road
Ideal location for Stratford Golf Club
a good location a few minutes walk from the river. comfortable accomadation and helpful friendly owners and we would happily return
on a busy road so it was a bit noisy, but we had a busy weekend so we slept well
Great location, nice and clean room with comfortable bed and bathroom.
The fact they had put a jug of milk in my fridge for my tea. Apart from that, very little else!! Sorry.
No one there to greet me on arrival despite getting there before the 11.00pm time slow and then obviously no one to show me to my room, a white envelope was left with my key, the place was completely dark and I could hardly make out where I was going as there seemed to be two entrances!!!!. The room was absolutely tiny, beyond anything I have ever stayed in. The noise was horrific from inside the room with other people walking around, and talking. On Sunday morning I could hear noise from a lady at 6.00am getting ready to leave the house with hairdryer going full blast. I could make out entire conversations. The floor boards creeked when I walked from the bed to the toilet. The noise from the road traffic was very loud even with the window closed.
Clean, comfortable accommodation - use of kitchen and washing machine real bonus. Very friendly, helpful owner
All of it. It did everything we needed and more
close to town and lovely host /really good basic room, nice furnishings
we can honestly say the room was clean
the floor was a nightmare it kept creeking and we felt like we was disturbing everyone, we had to ask for clean towels, the staff didnt introduce themselves to us, and when your running a buissness thats the first thing you do is to make your guest feel welcome and no we wont be staying there again
nice and clean, only a ten minute walk into stratford town through the park which was very well lit to walk home of a night, plenty of room to park the car
Friendly and accommodating owner. Good location, especially for taking the dog out to the park. Simple to book, reasonable price and had everything we needed for an easy trip.
