The 2 girls at reception were excellent when I checked in, unfortunately they were the exception. No fresh soap provided after room clean, waiter tried to tell me that the 250ML Champagne we ordered was the same volume as a 250ML glass of wine when it was clearly just a single flue of champagne compared to full wine glass. Same waiter poured the worst lager I have ever had, thankfully when shown to the off duty bar man he rectified it for me. Swimming pool was closed, which was one of the main reasons we chose to stay at this hotel. Breakfast choice was limited.

This was our fourth visit to Botley Park. We stay there because we enjoy the comfort of the bedroom and the food in the dining room The Bar prices. I can buy a ltr of whisky for what I paid for two singles at Botley Park!

This hotel was very nicely done out, and the rooms were clean and well presented. The Hotel Staff were very friendly and helpful. There are some great facilities located at the hotel and I wish I had had more time to make use of them! The only minor issue I had, was the aircon unit in the room was not very effective and I switched it off in the middle of the night as it was making some strange noises that woke me up.

Bar area: tables not cleared / cleaned. Ordering diner: funny waiter but couldn't bother to write our order down and therefore ordered the wrong starters. Restaurant: tables around us not cleared / cleaned for hours. The wine we ordered never arrived - we had to chase 3 times to get it. Room: baby next door woke us up at 6 in the morning on a Saturday. Leisure facilities: a guest vomit the night before on the way to the spa and the spa staff needed to tell and show us ! The place were the hot tub used to be was now filled with concrete, only a small pool left. Breakfast: buffet almost empty and we had to chase the staff to fill-it up. Again tables not cleared / cleaned. 4 stars for what ???

finding that the food in golfing bar much cheaper than resturant & breakfasts 10 steps to take a childs buggy and also asking to change room next to my daughter and family and they require an extra £45 per night on a 4 night stay.

Room very dated,Television very old fashioned. Bedding clean but very basic. No fridge. We didn't have breakfast because of the exorbitant prices.We were very disappointed with everything - couldn't believe the prices of drinks in the bar!!!

its clean. for that rate breakfast is not included. Was promissed robes but did not get them for the 2 nites. Booked an excecutive double, got standard twin then standard double!! the fire alarm went at 2.30 in the morning 4 times so of course ran out without robes and disturbed our sleep for a faulty wires. got dirty wine glasses with lipstick on them which we had to wait for 40 minutes for replacement. the aere was a water boiler noise the whole nite. it was very bad experience and was not compensated in any way not even for a lousy coffee/drink/breakfast.

Comfort & Facilities in rooms. Service in restaurant was poor ,tea & coffee arrived after had finished eating, and order was wrong , quality was average at best. Took 50 mins for room service. For a 4 star hotel with abundant facilities our overall conclusion was that we were disappointed.
