Nice hotel and wasn't too expensive and was very clean with staff being generally helpful The spa/sauna was pretty small and crowded with the sauna not even close to being hot. Definitely wasn't impressed with it. |

Easy parking, good location for touring and the hotels open plan ground floor area had a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. The service (long time to wait) at breakfast time was dreadful. Lot's of guests arrived at the same time and it seemed that the kitchen could not cope. Had to take our cooked breakfast back as they put scrambled eggs instead of the ordered fried and missed off the black pudding. However the restaurant manager seemed to cope with the pressure quite well! |

Having squash courts on site was a definite benefit - would have played golf as well had I realised there was a course on site Could have done with a bigger swimming pool and a hot tub / jaccuzi |

Hotel was reasonable overall, pool, gym, steam room and sauna was all good and clean, the room was clean and well maintained. I was disappointed that no spa treatments would be available on any Monday, including a Bank Holiday when I was staying - this should be made clear on the internet site. I also think that the place did not have much atmosphere and the Golf Club cafe area needs upgrading or at least re-thinking. Finally l could have done with a wider TV/radio choice in the room. |

we were there for a wedding. the reception was fine and food good. expensive for what we had. have stayed in a lot of different hotels most weekends this year and by far this was one hotel that did not impress us. Bed was very uncomfortable. No lift at the hotel so carrying bags up flights of stairs when currently experiencing bad back was a pain. Hotel staff too busy - receptionists were talking over themselves all the time and check in was a nightmare. |

Good position and facilities Breakfasts were poor, cold, badly presented and very little of it, ie 2 pieces of toast and poorly cooked. Suggest you need to replace the chef. Bed was soft and obviously had seen better days. Staff not that helpful |

Food in the winchester restaurant was of excellent standard and good value. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the hotel and golf course. Had a very enjoyable stay. It was a shame the jacuzzi was not working the weekend we were there but other than that all other facilities were very good. |

Price was good for the standard of the hotel FOOD! We arrived late and decided to eat at the bar - food was reheated. Tasted of rubber, under cooked and far too expensive!! |

great value for money. lovely size room. great decor. excellent breakfast. really good caeser salad in bar. staff very friendly and facilities were excellent. Ample Parking. |

Had a great weekend with the grls, perfect relaxation. Execellent facilities. Only the golf bar was open @ lunch time & us 4 girls had to sit amongst golfing fellas! |

whilst being a large hotel it retained its intimacy, reception staff and restaurant staff very good and the food was excellent. Surprised there was not a jacuzzi in the pool though. When we went to the pool section in the afternoon the lady on reception was very rude and off hand whe we asked for towels - I think she was under pressure but we were singularly unimpressed. All your other staff could not have been more helpful. |

Friendly, great pool/steam room, excellent location, felt very at home the whole time. Dinner and drinks were a little on the pricey side. Also, some of the changing facilities and loos could have benefited from more regular cleaning during the day. |

The hotel is lovely, my parents had a brilliant time and they were made to feel most welcome. The room was spotless and the beds were large and comfortable. The staff were very nice and I would recommend this hotel highly. |

I was on a works Christmas party and by the time I left home and arrived we did not have any time (except to watch man united play on the TV in the sports bar) nothing the hotel was lovely, the only thing I didn't like was that you only had a choice of beans or french toast. I prefer the choice of beans or tinned tomatoes, even though we did have a tomato on the plate, but overall I have no complaints |
