Staff very friendly and helpful. Good menu and value for money.

the friendliness of the staff who were most welcoming, the different meal choices and the fact it wasnt "pub grub" but something much nicer. Breakfast was excellent as well.

Walls and ceiling of room incredibly thin causing a great deal of disturbance from television ,walking around and bathroom noice from above.Bed very cheap and old with springs making a lot of noice and uncomfortable .

Secure parking, friendly staff, warm welcome, excellent bar food - it's a really nice place!

Feeble shower, lack of mobile phone reception

this is the second time we have stayed at the bourne valley inn.always welcoming and friendly,we have relatives in hurstbourne so we always stay here,it is so peaceful and rural,even deer seen in the front field! meals great and breakfast superb!

The only slight snag is that if the guests next door to you are a bit inconsiderate in letting doors bang and loud voices that is a bit disturbing but it is an old inn.

Excellent staff, very friendly, food good as was the beer! Good base for exploring. Plenty of hot water.

Shower was useless, bed could be better.

Very nice grounds and garden and the staff were very polite and accommodating. The single room was fairly basic but very clean and nicely decorated.

The shower was awful (no pressure at all).

My husband and I would whole heartedly recommend the Bourne Valley Inn, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the food was excellant.Walking around the Inn was lovely , a beautiful location.

The location, freindlines of the owners, cosy, countryside, near to tourist attractions without being too crowded. the beautiful hanging baskets.

It suited us as a stopping point between Bude and Harwich.

Room doors slamming shut

We came in soaking wet, muddy and exhausted from walking the Test Way in extremely unpleasant conditions and were made most welcome. The room was really comfortable and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful.

We liked everything but would have appreciated some fresh fruit for breakfast.

Great food,great beer,great service,what else is there? A lovely place to stay.
