Good location, close to shops and promenade; lovely sea views. I stayed at this hotel this time last year, when the levels of service were excellent - which was why I decided to return. However, things were not the same this year - I had to ask for things (eg tea bags) to be replaced, the room was shoddily serviced each day and the bed not made. Car parking was a nightmare. |

Comfortable bed, cleanliness, sea view room. Sea View Delux room was pretty small for that kind of price. |

Friendly and helpful staff. Great facilities. Food available 24hours of the day. Great location! The free upgrade made celebrating my fiance's 30th extra special! The car park fee was quite a shock. |

The rooms were nice and big The 2 rooms were too far from the reception area. They forgot our paper the 3 mornings in a row. Room service took 50 mins for childrens food and 30 mins for drinks. It was also very unfair to insist our family of 5 had 2 too s. The delux would have been big enough with a fold up bed. The whole weekend was over priced for us and not good value for money. |

The location was ideal for the BIC and central shops and restaurants. Seaview room was an adequate size with a huge queen size bed. Breakfast was first class and the service by staff was faultlesss. The parking charge was a bit steep and no guarantee of a space after 5pm. |

Fantastic location. Nice sized room and lovely breakfast. Perfect for couples and would definitely stay again! Some of the bar staff were a bit inexperienced... (Pouring pints etc). Wouldn't suggest driving as lack of car parking spaces, but very good taxi service and not far from station/town etc |

Location is fantastic, staff friendly and very helpfull, food good. Lift was frightening in Dorcester wing as it banged and bounced in use, but using staircase was no great hardship. Found bar prices a bit high for drinks and snacks, so tended to eat away from the hotel |

Having a nice rest around the pool area outside, and walking along the beach. The hotel staff at the reception desk were very friendly and the bar staff were very professional and accomodating Too many children allowed in too many areas, ie: the bar area, not many areas just for adults only |

It has an old fashioned ' Agatha Christie ' type charm about it. It's worn in all the right places and the staff were very pleasent indeed. The buffet breakfast was the best I've had anywhere. In the room was a 1L bottle of Evian water for sale at £3.50. Sainsbury's sell 6 for £3.21. It was so disappoinrting because you start to think ' Rip-off ' which is so unfair because the overall hotel experience was very good |

Recommended hotel. Excellent staff, food and location. Very nice poolarea and generous openinghours. Friendly and luxury atmosphere. The Dorchester wing, which we stayed in, is separated from the mainbuilding with smaller rooms and no view. The parkingarea not only for hotelguests and was very cramped. |

Extremely helpful staff, very clean room, good view of the sea and easy access to town centre. Good breakfast. Room was very small for £170 a night, Consider it to be extremely overpriced and not value for money. Bed was hard and sleep disturbed by next door using bathroom in middle of night. Is there any sound proofing.?? |

Prompt and efficient help with luggage. Good evening meal with efficient and friendly service. Bed linen and towels immaculate. We were in the Dorchester wing and there was no covered walkway or designated path in order to reach the Reception, restaurant or main body of the hotel. When raining this was at best uncomfortable and at worst dangerous crossing a busy car park. Air con was noisy and effectively not adjustable. |

Highcliff Marriot is set in a beautiful location, on a cliff-top, overlooking the sea, very close to the Bournemouth International Centre. The full English breakfast buffet was superb quality food and our room was spotlessly clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. I would definitely return there. No negatives - a completely positive experience. |

Friendly staff, excellent location with a beautiful view out to the sea (at a cost), and parking wasn’t a problem. The room was top quality. Expense, especially for the room with a view, and the television was old fashioned. |
