Very difficult to say anything good about this hotel - ah they did let me park my van which is quite big in their car park. This is without doubt the worse hotel I've ever stayed in. The whole place is dated. Our room described as a double was tiny; we couldn't even pass each other as we moved round it. The bathroom was unbelievable; luckily we aren't over-weight so we could just about squeeze in. It would be possible to use the toilet and wash your face in the sink at the same time, and if you were able to open the shower door fully you could do all three! Worse of all, was the heavy rock music from 7pm to 11pm on both nights of our stay. We were tired after a hard day’s work but no chance of relaxing here. We tried to watch the tiny TV - which is attached to the wall about 8ft up in the heavens but gave up. After the music level went down we had hoped for some sleep, but it was windy outside and all night we had to put up with the sound of what I assume was the guttering outside resonating. On to the buffet breakfast, it consists of powdered scrambled eggs, rehashed beans, sausages from another planet and rubbery toast. There are also some cereals, yoghurts and tinned fruit so at least you can get something inside you. At checkout the old woman at reception didn’t even bother to ask us if we had enjoyed our stay – I think they know not to ask! At £80 per night this place isn’t cheap, so please do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

The photographs were unrepresentative. The hotel has seen better days. Generally the service and food were good but there is a loud whirring noise from the generator and I could here it all night in my room. Also there was a heavy metal band on both Friday and Saturday night (the only nights I was there) and strangly dressed young people(punks) were occuppying the bar so I could not use the bar nor did any other guest. I think the hotel should cater for guests not outsiders. I was offerred alternative accommodation but one room, for some reason was extremely hot and both that were offered was next to a noisy road. The staff and food and it was central.

It was a clean and tidy hotel. It is close to the beach. The food was disappointing. The hotel badly needs its decor to be updated.

The room was clean, bed wasn't very comfortable, everything was very old fashioned in the single rooms, but overall it was ok. Rather expensive would say for the overall comfort etc, but it does have nice grounds, but needs redecorating etc. Very uncomfortable single bed and very old decor.

It is close to the beach The reception was lukewarm. There was no enough parking spaces and on the second night I had to park my car in a a nearby pay and display, The breakfast area was very small and we had to wait for a vacant table, There was only one lift which got stuck more than once,

Hotel facilities were fit for purpose, reasonably priced, choice of two bars, excellent selection of food in breakfast room and most impressive added sea view. The bathroom facilities were a bit cramped, but I was in a single room at what I call a bargan rate so no real complaint.

The staff in the restaurant for breakfast were pleasant and friendly. The room decor was shabby, the wallpaper was peeling off the wall and hot pipes could be seen which could be dangerous for the children. The towels had holes in. The shower had only a trickle of water coming out of it. The staff didn't appear to have any regard to customer service, we seemed an inconvenience to them. We arrived at 10am, 2 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 2. We were aware that check in was 2.30pm so went out and came back at 2.15pm. I asked the girl on Reception if our room was ready and she said no she hadn't heard. I asked her if she could find out for us which she said that meant she had to get up and find the cleaner. The hotel was quiet and no one else was waiting. She reluctantly went and found out it was.

Staff were very helpfull- especially at breakfast with 3 kids running around! The room was clean and very fit for purpose. The gardens were beautiful. A lovely view of the coast and ample space for the kids to play! We were a stones throw from the beach, so very convenient. We wanted to book a second night but had to get home for work commitments. Will definitely be booking this hotel again. Nothing- Maybe dinner could be a little cheaper. The cost of dinner was what stopped us dining there.

Dichtbij de kust gelegen. Overnachting met Engels ontbijt voor een zeer schappelijke prijs. Familiekamer met bad en kinderbedje was geplaatst in de kamer. Hotel oké voor 5 (2volwassen + 3 kids)

Proximity to Bournemouth centre and beach>.. Very tired and some parts of the hotel looked unloved with no little extra touches to make it memorable - no bedside tables or bath/shower gel - also shower was only an over bath shower head that hardly worked. We did report to the reception that there was a large crack in the washbasin. The breakfast was little more than adequate with plates that were too small.

Breakfast was good. Location of hotel excellent for beach and town centre. Rooms clean. Rooms were shabby. Had to change rooms on first night as were situated above a bar with live music playing until 1am. No pool table available as advertised, owners son had gone off with keys! No chef on Saturday, so no lunch available.

All in all it was fantastic for the money in fact I struggle to believe how nice the hotel was for the price we paid. The staff were fantastic and always on hand to help. The only critism we have is the way we were treated when leaving, we were running a few minutes late which I know is a pain for the staff but they were a little rude in trying to get us out.

The hotel was approximately 5 minutes walk from the seafront and pier and approximately 10 minutes walk through a well kept park with lovely flower beds to the main shopping area. My partner and I thought the cost charged was excessive in view of the fact that the hotel was quite basic. We were disappointed with the standard offered and expected more for our money.

The only thing I can say I liked about the hotel was the location to the beach. This hotel is in need of some decorating. The room I was in had wallpaper falling off, and there was mould in the bathroom. The toilet brush was disgusting. The waiting staff were friendly, the reception staff just didn't want to help. The photo of the garden is very misleading, the garden is not that big at all, The biggest problem though was the live rock music in the bar connected to the hotel. Not very family friendly when is does not finish until 1am. Also when we got up in the morning, the garden had not been cleaned and there were Glasses everywhere, not child friendly at all, very disappointed.
