Central location. Shower head mouldy, broken wood on room door frame, cracked and tired feature bath, featured mini bar not stocked, tv did not like any bbc, room not cleaned or looked at after first night (towels not changed, bed unmade and bathroom not wiped down) , tea and coffee not replenished. Was charged £10 for parking a motorcycle after paying £238 for 2 nights. Reception guy only interested in payment prior to occupying room. Cocktail bar directly below room and was busy and noisy till 4a.m.

Location, however there is no parking, therefore you park in the pay and display which is annoying as you have to keep returning to re-new the ticket. In fairness to the hotel they did upgrade our room, but as we were the only couple staying that did not pose any problem for them. We booked this hotel as it had a champagne bar and restraunt attached. We went for our 35th wedding anniversary hoping for a nice meal and drink. What we wasn't told it was shut. Anniversary ruined, say no more!!

This is a really lovely little hotel - perfectly placed in the centre of Skipton, a very pretty little Yorkshire town with a great castle, lovely views and lots to do in the surrounding area. We had booked their cheapest room whcih came with a lovely big jacuzzi bath - however, on our first night it became apparent that the bath was not working properly so they immediately upgraded us to their fabulous family suite in the attic - highly recommended for familes or groups, it was lovely and spacious. The hotel itself is very classy, and the staff were so kind and helpful - as for the breakfast, the lovely lady at reception offered to make me an Indian vegetarian breakfast specially and it was yummy! The other two days I had a normal veggie cooked breakfast, which was excellent - the cook was very kind and couldn't have been more helpful - especially as I am quite fussy, and sent back the toast as it was spread with margarine instead of butter.... but nothing was too much trouble. There was a wee Indian restaurant on site, which was really lovely - definitely try it out! All in all, a brilliant stay in a lovely hotel i would highly recommend! Nothing - lovely stay all round. Bit dissapointing that our jacuzzi bath didn't work, but more than happy with the upgrade as a result!

Staff was very helpful and professional - The room booked wasn't available therefore we were downgraded without being notified; room was changed to a better one only after our complaint - extremely noisy! Avoid if you want to go bed before midnight (the bar downstairs attracted large groups of drunken and loud people, did not leave until 1am...) - breakfast poor, coffee (?) tasted like water

The location. The room has been done in a boutique way but on the cheap as it definitely needed painting. There was flaky paint on the ceiling and the window in the bathroom didn't shut. We had to put a towel across the bottom of the window as you could see daylight through it. Not good with the cold weather we're getting at the moment. The complimentary bathrobes, one didn't have a belt and the other was grubby. They didn't have de-caf coffee in the tea/coffee facilities in the room. At breakfast again they don't do de-caf coffee and you had to ask for sugar and milk. At £99 per night I expected at least the essentials !!! Well, you live and learn, I won't be going back there.

Car park too small and difficult to access and very confusing as to what space is available to guests. Fittings in bathroom not secured properly. Credit card facility not working which I think is a scheme suiting the hotel. Noise from the street very loud early morning and throughout the day. English breakfast a farrago.

Had a booking with the hotel for Saturday 23rd March, On arrival we were told we were not allowed the room which we had chosen which was a little disappointing as there had been problems with it the previous evening, We arrived at our new room which was bitterly cold as no heating had been on for quite some time and due to the very cold weather this took quite some time to warm up. We had a meal booked at the French Restaurant in Skipton for later that evening. We came to get showered and bathed to find we had no hot water at all. We complained at Reception who told us to wait half an hour for the water to warm up. We waited half an hour and had a drink in the bar – the hotel staff could have made this complimentary as it was due to the faults of the hotel in the first place. After half an hour we still had no hot water – complained again at Reception who then sent a ‘plumber’ the plumber agreed the water was freezing and we were told to wait another hour for the water to warm up. In the end we could not have a shower or a bath, this made us late due to all the waiting and we missed our meal at the restaurant! This kind of standard is completely unacceptable and the whole weekend was ruined – no apology or offer of refund from the hotel or anything!

The food was excellent being an Indian restaurant but it could be a issue if you don't like Indian food or are there for a few nights and fancy a change Rooms are a bit tired and a jacuzzi that does not work and has no shower facility is a bit pointless

The roll top bath was nice, the bathroom and room was very nice. The staff were very personable. Reception on the TV was poor. I would have liked more choice at Breakfast. I didn't feel i got good value for money. It was noisy outside at night.

We liked the boutique idea . The location was very good and the staff were brilliant . Accomodation was just "ok" The decor was tired, the toilet seat was broken ( as mentioned in a previous review for room 5 ) , cobwebs were found above the mirror , the tv didnt work correctly . Overall the boutique was a 6\10 and we expected better having paid £100 per night . The evening meal in the Indian restaurant was poor despite it being called Nawaab ( we were told by staff that it was the same as the chain in West Yorkshire........we were not convinced ) The breakfast was undercooked ( Sausage & eggs)

Great central location. Very smoky room, changed to different room with a jacussi-broken! Mould round windows, broken bathroom tiles, no toilet roll holder-loo roll on window ledge! Broken bath tap, broken sink plug, stained carpet, freezing breakfast room, under cooked sauages, no jam, marmalade etc. ownwer asked to go and check the room before we left to make sure everything was ok and nothing was damaged! Food left in the fridge from previous people. No smoke alarms! Springs sticking through mattress, hole in duvet cover. Complete lack of attention to detail!
