Owners , super building, v clean .
Loud music till 1am , fighting outside the window
Fantastic location Good wifi
A bit tired but was undergoing renovation Breakfast very poor
The staff were very friendly and it was good value for money.
Spacious, modern bedrooms and bathrooms Good location Helpful, friendly staff
Location friendly staff secluded parking Great location Couldnot find fault.Breakfast more than ample also!!
tight corner to car park.Drive carefully
The bed was very comfortable, room nicely decorated.
Although the design was good some of the fittings need attention and it's this is what let's it down. I also think had I paid £100+ per night that I'd be very dissapointed.
Room was large and quite well decorated. Breakfast was good
Noise level awful till one in the morning when the cocktail bar below hotel finally closed. Tv did not work.
Individual style Clean "Drenching" Shower Good breakfast
Good value and great location for town centre
External parts require a tidy.
Close to ever where but quite as well
Modern look and central location
-Shower and bath were dirty. -Not finished to a high standard -television hard to work with 2 remotes -staff member walked out of room after fixing tv, then back in again once he left something without knocking. -our friends were staying in other room and also had a member of staff walk in room when they were thought to be out!! -They also rang up for a item they had left and the staff member they spoke to said they had put it into he bin!!
central location ,,, ..., secure parking [£3]
a little expensive + tatty in parts...
Lovely staff Breakfast amazing Fantastic Location Rooms made you feel at home Feel good shower Ultimate relaxation
That I didn't stay for longer
Price was good for what we wanted. A one night stopover ready for onward journeys. Had a good breakfast.
The TV did not work properly. Cables not fitted correctly or damaged.okay not a big thing for a one night stopover but when you want the TV. You want it to work.
The location was good for the town centre of Skipton, The bathroom was quite large with roll top bath & rainfall shower!
Upon arrival we paid extra to upgrade to the 3 bedroom suite, however because there was only 2 of us they closed off 2 of the bedrooms! They weren't getting used but we had still paid for them! The layout of the room wasn't great all low ceilings as was in attic part of house, our bed was broken & had the worst nights sleep ever in it! We arranged for breakfast to be delivered to our room for a specific time & it didn't arrive! They had forgot, no telephone in the room to ring down to reception either! The hotel is left unoccupied at night aswel with no staff around in case of emergencies!
Nice spacious room included small fridge. Newly decorated and clean. Friendly owners. Historic building not pretty outside but very nice inside.
The bed springs were noisy and need replacing in our room. The hall light left on all night was too bright. The tunnel to the car park at the back was scaringly narrow for a med sized car, charge 3 pounds/night
Location and cooked breakfast. Cold selection very poor.Only cheap cereal and fresh fruit.
Jacuzzi bath did not work and no hot water and felt like it was coming away from the wall. Had to half fill from the sink. Dirty shelves in wardrobe. No TV. No radio. No lock on inside door. Half of the lights did not work.
Nice cocktail bar Good location
Untrained staff Expensive Room poorly maintained, half bottle of radox on show, basic maintenance needed - eg - bathroom work surface perished, TV remote control, no back and flat batteries, bathtub surface cracked and hence uninviting for a bath Breakfast - waitress service poor, quality of breakfast poor, teapots dirty ( my coffee was served in a teapot!)
Owner was lovely and very friendly. Recently taken over so were trying to get on top of things but didn't affect our stay. Lovely breakfast.
Few niggles but sure the new owner will get these resolved (such as the digital signal was very poor)
The room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfy. Large bath which we thought was a jaccuzi which didn't work. When I tried filling it there was no hot water the manager reset it but still no water. Had to improvise and attach shower head from sink as there was hot water ftom that. And only 1 channel worked on tv. Furniture a bit shabby and the fluffy gowns were brown and tatty. Apart from a few things the hotel was nice would say 3 stars not 4.
