The staff was attentive and friendlly. The food availablle was well presented and tasted lovely. The inclusive English Breakfast was ample and good. A cosy atmosphere sometimes lacking in more modern facilities prevailed . We stayed with another couple who had room Number 5 which they loved. We were given room number 3 which unfortunately was situated next to the cellar airconditioning unit, a noisy contraption which even the double glazing could not dampen and came on at 6.50am and only switched off at 11pm. Unfortunately the there was no other room available at the in as it was fully booked. My recommendation is to avoid room 3. |

plumbing: w.c. did not flush sufficiently. Ticking noise in room kept us awake during the night. Springs in the mattress of room 4 were beginning to make their presence felt! |

Comfortable kingsized bed. Good restaurant with delicious food. Never managed to make the internet work on our laptop which was very disappointing. Our son discovered that we needed a password which we weren't supplied with in our room. |

It was convenient to church, school hall and amenities. Small, compact and cosy. Good atmosphere in pub during the evening. Easy access to cities and sights in the Bristol area including Bath. plumbing was not good. Too little water in W.C. bowl to flush first time, in en-suite. A ticking noise in bedroom 4 repeatedly woke us even though we were tired after all day at a wedding. |

The accomodation and food was very good. The rooms and pub had a lot of character. Would like to visit in the summer as there looked like there was a lovely pub garden. It was a lovely village pub. |
